Mexico is mostly warmer than the US. New York is hit harder probably because of its climate, although they are also marking every influenza/pneumonia death as coronavirus.

Since yesterday there is a listing for twenty more deaths in Mexico from the CoronaVirus. Perhaps they should have initiated some of Trump's suggestions a few weeks ago.
