I don't really like it, and that's not remotely the issue here, but don't let that stop you from hammering home the most overused generalization in the history of this country...

It IS the issue of a civil right is being arbitrarily cut off by LW governors. Can we stop freedom of the press because of the virus?

We always forget that taking away the ability of americans to defend themselves is always the first play from progressive authoritarian democrats.

What makes me certain of this is the glee in the eyes of folks like Cuomo or Gavin, or the LA mayor... They, to a person have all suggested that if the interest of the state is in play they will all crush the rights of the citizens in their jurisdictions. Look at the SS squeal on your neighbor tactics. The use of agencies to interfere with families. The day is rapidly coming when even the lame media will not be able to look away.

These lawsuits will clearly fail to advance... that you must know.. and the particular stores in question will likely be re-opened in the June/July time frame, although many with fewer employees like much of the country...

I don't know the lawsuits will fail, thankfully lots of gunstores are ignoring this ban, especially since the administration said they were an essential business.

Is this the same administration that back in February said we'd be down from 15 to 0 COVID cases within a few days??

    Asking for a friend....

It is petty and idiotic to cite quotes from months ago in this rapidly changing environment. Maybe Trump was listening to the 'expert' Dr. Fauci, who on 1/26 said we had very little to fear from the coronavirus.

I was born and raised in a rural area while working on farms, hunting in the wilds and living with all the needs we “ likely” faced. Ha ha.
It’s absolutely hilarious that anyone would mention them in the same breath as high cap mags and AR15. Seriously ? You are joking.

Times have changed, technology has advanced. Why should such be considered a bad thing that needs to be resisted?

Well, there is your make believe version of the constitution which is outright fakery, then there is the one as interpreted by the numerous SC decisions. You defend the fake one, we’ll defend the real one.

What do you think the Founders intended the 2A for?

Get real, if you possibly can. We live in the deep woods now. No rabid drug dealers, no herd of wild pigs in heat...nothing. You’re doing the usual, making up crapola.

They intended what ever the SC says they did. Maybe you lived in Siberia for the last 200 years ?

You can attempt to interpret him any way you like... I'll go with the interpretation of English words...

AR-15’s are one of the tools best suited to farming and ranching I own/use. And yes, standard capacity magazines as well.

Leaving your house can kill people. Also, the longer we fail to implement strong effective quarantine measures, the longer this crisis will last, and the more we will hurt the economy. If I was in charge I would implement the effective Chinese measures and put military into the streets to keep people home. They are hard, but also effective.

Ha ha.....keep telling yourself that. Oh, now it’s “ ranching”. I think we’re talking about self defense needs. Been attacked by a herd of prairie dogs lately ? So, if it’s “one of” what’s another ? Nothing like a 30 rd banana mag to take out a couple of prairie dogs when they're hot on your trail. .

Now the play on words has started. Now it’s, self defense. The right of self defense with a firearm is NOT absolute. Show us the SC decision that says differently.

Same thing in Iraq, which by the way was supported by all the big name Dems, including Biden and Clinton. You must appreciate Trump not wanting to get us involved in such wars, correct?

We can't even get civilization on the South Side of Chicago, let alone on the other side of the planet.

By that logic Dred Scot and Plessy v. Ferguson were valid decisions. The Founders intended the 2A as a check against tyrannical government, like the kind that launches Deep State coup attempts.

Your statement is false. I gave you specific examples. Lets take one at a time:

A student passing out copies of the constitution was threatened with removal by law enforcement for doing it outside of the "free speech zone". This was the same campus that had no problem with students and faculty holding anti-Trump rallies outside of "the zone"

Is this the "real" version of the first amendment?

The mistake the Dems made which is undeniable, was they actually believed Bush and the rest of republicans. They were promised more evidence of wmd, they didn’t. They promised to continue UN inspections which were spot on, they didn’t.

I always blame dems for believing republicans. Obama’s did not Bernie did not among a majority of other Dems who did not.

Why not go back to Adam and Eve. You guys are hysterical. Name one state without firearm laws. Obviously, you can’t. Obviously the 2@ is not absolute.

Believing republicans is a huge problem with democrats. That’s why I’m neither.
