Then stop knowingly putting out deliberately false claims with no basis in reality.

And then get back to explaining precisely when the development of firearms technology should have been ended, to prevent technological advancement from occurring.

It was yourself who previously stated the belief that the development and advancement of firearms technology should have been ended after a certain point, to prevent the development of modern firearms from occurring. Therefore it is being asked precisely at what point in history the developments of firearms technology should actually have been stopped from further advancement.

Are you saying that because of our military's tremendous success fighting an enemy hiding among friendlies in Vietnam and the ME? Primitive weapons have shown to be effective even when our military was not put in a position to fire on their own people.

“Myself” said no such thing. You obviously know you’re wrong about that, because you didn’t actually quote me. Do you need help ?

You're saying there should have no civilian gun advancement since the 2A was written.

That was the intent of the Founders, I realize the LW doesn't care.

The actual proves the possible, I've already cited Afghanistan, where inbred savages have been holding us down with AKs and home made bombs. Don't think our tanks were useful there.

Glad I don't live in Boston.

Yes, they take forever to reload.

No, I'm saying they are vastly inferior to modern weapons. Go ahead and limit yourself to them, see how that works out. If you disappear from the forum I'll know why.

    The actual evidence proves otherwise:

An exact statement on the part of yourself, pertaining to how the development and advancement of firearms technology should have been forcibly stopped by law after a certain point.

Now detail precisely when that cutoff point should have been.

Then say that . You make incendiary remarks that are easily disproved then do the CYA dance.

I did quote you. (Thats the green box over my text)

    "

    dagosa said:
Strange. Is every overt supporter of the idea that personal firearms are useful defense against the government ?
That’s really strange. Tell me how you’re going to accomplish this. You got your own tank ? Nope. You’re ok on your farm, but you’re little pop guns are illegal in Boston, as well they should be; you could hurt someone.

Btw, we had an armory. We weren’t allowed to take the cannon home..."

I did not alter your text or put words in your mouth. I asked a question.

"Are you saying that because of our military's tremendous success fighting an enemy hiding among friendlies in Vietnam and the ME? Primitive weapons have shown to be effective even when our military was not put in a position to fire on their own people."

You are less "okay" on a farm than surrounded by friendlies.

The quotes made on the part of yourself were insufficient evidence to prove the claim was made on the part of yourself?

So now you’re agreeing that the “primitive” weapons are still effective defense weapons ? Of course. My 5 shot SW 642 air weight is plenty. I don’t need a 30 round mag. It draws and shoots, even left in the pocket, much quicker then any 9 mm 15 round semi.

so my air weight is primitive ?

Friendlies ? I have never been surrounded by unfriendlies .

You outdid “ yourself”, two in one sentence. What ever happened to the word “ you” ?

Very big of you to admit you were wrong about the effect of armed citizens against modern military.

Well, yes. But that’s why we fired in ranks. Besides, one shot gun blast ( smooth bore) is very effective. Smooth bore Muzzle loaders don’t have the limitation of a confined cartridges in a modern shotgun . You can put a whole handful of pellets down the barrel. You could take down several at once. So, don’t slight them.

    Ha ha.
The VC were an organized gorilla force army. Where were you....laughable. You belong to an army ? They had full auto AK47, German ww2 machine guns and motors.....none of which are available to general public here. They weren’t civilians. They terrorized civilians. Is that your plan to fight our government ?

I’m still waiting to hear why I should sell my AR-15’s and buy a .270 bolt gun. :)
