That means New York is not discriminating against churches.

If you want to argue that churches are essential, that is another story

 

There is no evidence that some religious denominations are being allowed to violate New York's rules while others are not.

New York's rules allow houses of worship to remain open, but there cannot be gatherings of people.

However the rules allow individuals to go into houses of worship as long as they maintain social distance.

However there are rules regulating how many people can come inside

 

Home Depot is limiting occupancy of the stores in my area to 100 customers at a time. If 100 customers added to the number of employees divided by the square footage of free floor space of the store is considered safe enough, then it should be a safe enough method for a church to fill the pews.

 

Nope I can find many places of worship that are having regular services.. WTF is that shithole of a state going to roll up and roust people out like common prostitutes at a bordello raid.. What a horrible argument. Religion is addressed in the 1st amendment. How can you even argue this point. Isn’t that the president’s job to defend the constitution?

Since there isn't any religion I know of that insists the only place to practice it is in a house of worship, nobody is being oppressed. A public health crisis is more than sufficient justification to impose temporary restrictions of public gatherings. The rights of the herd supersede the rights of the individual in such a case. Perhaps you should consider the global pandemic response as a war on virus. Americans in particular have no worries about sacrificing rights when it comes to waging wars. Does the Patriot Act ring a bell?

He isn't forcing anyone to do anything. He's bluster and blather trying to divert attention from the fact that he's off golfing while 100,000 americans have died in the ONGOING pandemic.

For someone who claims to be a patriot, you sure as hell don't seem all that familiar with the limits of presidential powers as defined by the constitution. A rather ironic phenomenon amongst many trump followers.

 

Just curious. How would it have changed anything, if he did not go golfing? Presidents have gone golfing through just about every crisis known to man.

I did not realize another hundred thousand had died while he was on the golf course. That makes two hundred thousand total.
