He doesn't care if people buy it. He only cares about demonstrating again and again that anything he says, no matter how outrageous, obviously false or dishonest; his lapdogs in Congress, in government, in the wingnut media, and his "True Followers" will defend it as if they were reading it from the Bible. They don't have to believe it. They are only required to find ways to defend it.

This is what reassures him. It's like a constant test of blind loyalty. A test that only those who are willing to give up their patriotism and self-esteem for His Glory will approve.

 

Cite the evidence of the claim. Prove that there are indeed one thousand individuals in the united states dying on a daily basis.

 

Stop thinking about Trump's support as having any connection to his actions as president. His job performance has been transparently terrible to anyone looking at things objectively. Start thinking about his supporters as supporters of his cult of personality. They support Trump because of what he represents and the symbols he uses to sell himself. He never did much as president. It is all posturing and symbolism. He is nothing more than a simulacrum of white identity politics. No content, just symbols. When you realize this, understanding how he can maintain a 40% approval rating while the world burns around him, becomes much easier.

Those are actually deaths while testing positive for Covid. Since we don't autopsy these bodies we really don't know what killed them do we?

Actually it does. Any death in which a person has Covid-19 is counted as a Covid-19 death. A person could and probably has died from other causes, but because he tested positive for Covid-19, it is counted as a Covid-19 death.

However, there are too many dying from Covid19 for the simple reason that people are not taking proper precautions.

 

How can he stop the idiots on the left from protesting? They have been protesting nonstop for more than a month now. The MSM keeps prodding them to gather in groups of thousands all over America. If Trump moves a finger to stop them, the MSM and the left will completely lose their ****.

The entire purpose of the protests at this point appears to be to spread the virus so that there is an excuse to shut the economy down. If you support the protests at this point, you support the pandemic. The evidence is overwhelming.

One rally with maybe a thousand people that lasted for a few hours compared to dozens of cities with tens of thousands of protestors, rioters and looters that lasted for weeks. Your premise lame.

I'm a betting man. So here's my over/under: if the daily death due to covid goes back up to 2000 a day, Trump is done. As we saw today, he finally wore a mask, and it is due to the fact that the administration is cognizant that the virus MAY be back. i'm not saying it is. I, like so many others, don't understand how this virus is working. I undersatnd that facts change from day to day. Trump went all in on the 'it will go away' theory. If he is right, he will be reelected. If he is wrong he will be viewed as wreckless and callous and the agent of chaos that he has always been.

 

The numbers say it will level out around 1000 unless some more states get in the act.

But I'm not convinced he can survive 1000 a day and taking no action to make it better.

You realize that it's extremely probable that BOTH these protesters AND Trump were dead wrong and stupid to be holding either protests or rallies. It's not one or the other.
