Interesting, so you don't support their right to free speech? I was told different. Moments of silence must be respected but the flag....? fk the flag? Nah, i dont care anymore let everyone approach this crap however they see fit. If that means blowing air horns or booing or kneeling. Whatever floats their boat, if you dont like it then you aren't listening. Boo for Gucci! Or turn off the game(s), that's what I did.
Yes, and it is loss of money that is going to make football go broke because people will stop watching if they continue to interject politics into the game.
Bringing politics into sports brings money to someone? That doesn't make sense. I think the opposite is true.
LOL.... It reminds me of the old Soviet where folks had to bow in silence for the "greater good" or other bs. Folks who attend a soccer match aren't there to be preached to, they aren't there to kneel silently for a minute. They want to watch soccer. As soccer is ALREADY a very racially diverse sport, it seems gratuitous for the sport to think it was a good idea to beat folks who really just want to escape for a while from the reality of their own lives to have this kind of crap forced on them. Silence against racism doesn't seem to indicate a proactive stance to begin with. Silent reflection seems abusive. Aren't those the same cries we hear should an organization attempt to insert it's religious messages in public? And when you suggest "severe action", what do you actually mean? More rioting? More looting? More mob violence? Here's a thought. Don't visit. Watch the NBA instead. If you yearn for your daily dose of identity politics and wish to be force fed with it, watch them. I doubt that the NBA will be adopting quotas for racial diversity anytime soon though....
iguess if youre anti homosexual then yes, the BLM manifesto is something you would hate. as a right winger ican also see the validity of much of the manifesto even if there are sections against my values.
Sure I am. I explained it clearly. Anyone who has issues with the booing needs to have some self reflection and listen harder to the message, learn to understand and accept. Time to step out if the bubble.
FC Dallas defender Reggie Cannon has condemned the "disgusting" booing of players kneeling during the national anthem by some home fans before their match against Nashville on Wednesday. Also from your article "He had asked for the US national anthem not to be played but the MLS has previously said it will be when fans are in attendance." So is only he allowed a view point? Curious how you see the playing of the National Anthem as a moment of silence....
a football club is an independent org, much like this website that doesnt allow free speech but you post here while being censored. you support censorship by being here. the football club, like this website has the right to ban anybody for racist behaviour.
So we can add booing to the list of racist acts, right below proper grammer, camping, and paying taxes.
