Do you realize that the USPS handles around twenty million pieces of mail per hour. Your 35,000 pieces of mail amount to just amount to a reduction of under O.2%. That is roughly one in five hundred pieces of mail. Our mail has dropped to about half just by getting rid of most of the junk mail.

I posted that mail sorting machines are being taken apart and removed from distribution facilities across the US. Anything to say to that? Are you saying mail sorting machines AREN'T being removed? Are you saying Kimberly Karol, president of the Iowa Postal Workers Union, is lying when she said mail sorting machines are being removed?

 

When you provide a source, then you apparently agree with that source. Otherwise why use it?

Equipment gets removed and replaced periodically for many reasons. However, the number removed was insignificant when compared to the total. Also noticed they said "up to 35,000 pieces per hour". That is an old trick. That does not mean it actually processes on average 35,000 pieces per hour. How much they actually process is a much more meaningful number, but they failed to provide that.

Keep your cheap insults to yourself. It only adds to your inability to conduct a civil discussion.

 

The USPS depends on mail as their source of income. They are getting an increase in mail and more revenue and they want even more money to handle it. Sounds like a great reason to shut them down. Most businesses thrive on more revenue.

 

So you don't think taking away a machine from a given sorting location won't have any negative impact? It's about what each sorting location can handle. If you take away a tool that helps sort mail that is obviously going to have a negative impact. The more machines taken away the more negative impact. But I honestly don't expect you to grasp that concept. Feel free to continue with your nonsense by yourself.

They removed a number of sorting machines. No where does it say they removed all of them. You are making assumptions.
