He leaned down to George Floyd's daughter, the one he went to jail for for abusing....................hope Biden didn't touch her.
How about one for every time he mentions the rioting and anarchy going on in the streets.....................................naw we'd all be stone sober.
I need a little hope and optimism after that. Think I'll go watch tonight's Trump interview replay so I can cheer up about the future possibilities.
I don't get this. They just walked out on to that stage in what looks like a drive in theater with a nice crowd out there. Why didn't he give his speech out there to the cheering crowd instead of in that dry indoors setting? He could have gotten cheers after lots of those lines and built it up to something exciting. He actually gave a good performance that could have been lots better in front of a crowd. Weird.
Well, for one thing, that was an amazing performance of verbal eloquence and well-displayed emotions. The idea that Joe Biden is about to croak of severe dementia is vastly exaggerated.
He did a good job, as I said too bad they didn't do it outside in front of the crowd. But tell me what did he say he was going to do about COVID?
His previous displays are well documented and not exaggerated, he was well prepared tonight and did a good job.
You know, if he does an equally good job in debates against Trump, the dementia narrative will fall flat. Remember, when he went one-on-one against Bernie Sanders, the comment I heard from more than one Bernie Sanders fan was "so much for the idea that Biden is demented." They detest him, and they had to acknowledge that he looked anything but demented. So, I think Trump's strategy of calling him demented is actually quite dangerous, because from the one-on-one debate with Sanders and from tonight's speech, it is looking like Joe Biden is very much on top of his game. Beware of this approach; it may look quite ridiculous and petty if he dominates the debates against Trump.
Oh come on, he took his mask off for a few seconds to make some faces at the crowd, when nobody was around him other than his wife who lives with him in the same household. You sound desperate when you try to make something out of nothing.
In 47 years, Joe did none of the things of which he now speaks. He will never change, just words! https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1296645682875506688
I didn't like the mask mandate part... and I didn't like the cheap appeal to emotions of talking about Floyd's daughter, but I'll say it, his speech was very impressive, very emotional, and very easy to connect to and empathize with. I frankly don't think Trump can do as well. Advantage Biden.
I saw how deer in the headlights he was when Harris accused him of being a racist. I see him forget where he's going and what he's talking about and asking if his time is up because he doesn't know what to say. He won't have a teleprompter with practiced words on it. He previous performances speak for themselves you can't deny them, you can't wish them away. I think the count is 31 questions he has taken since he became the presumptive candidate. Do you know how many Trump takes in a day, and most them them quite hostile and he handles them.
And why shouldn't them? I'm totally for masks (although not for mask mandates) and I believe our leaders should lead by example. By the way, Trump himself has donned masks and has spoken in favor of masks. It looks like Trump's followers are more against masks than Trump himself. I don't get it. This virus is serious and masks while not perfect, can indeed lower to some degree the odds of transmission, and are very harmless. Masks are beneficial to the economy. Yes, let's all wear masks. But not by decree. We should do it out of a concerted effort to beat a common enemy, the virus, for the sake of our economy and our public health.
