High speed chase? I thought he was reaching in his car for a gun?

You stated that he was convicted of child rape. Where is the link?

And fair enough I misread the original report. The warrant was for child molestation. He had not been convicted. But the point still stands. They should have used whatever force was necessary to prevent him from starting a high speed chase with 3 children inside.

I never said that. I think he was fleeing. Which means he was putting three children at risk.

With Randy Weaver, his home was invaded and his wife shot in cold blood. Randy was not a threat to anyone. David Koresh was a kook and there was suspicion of child endangerment. Anyway, those deaths were a political decision by a Democrat Administration and Janet Reno.
You fail in those two comparisons. Police have to make arrests then the courts decide. Simple fact. That is unless you purport the idea we don't need police. Not coperating with police is not a death sentence, but presenting a threat most often is. And it should be that way. Educate your children on that. Also, tell them to keep their hands off the stove and don't plug screwdrivers into light sockets!

The warrant was not for child molestation. It was for sexual assault again his ex-girlfriend.

Never said you did. But MANY others have stated he went into car to grab a gun.

Yes. Die. That's the rules. If you don't listen to police, they have the right to shoot you dead. It's in the Terms of Service Agreement & the UAA's.

The cause for the warrant is really irrelevant. The warrant is simply his cause for fleeing.
But when he decided to jump in his truck and start a chase with three children inside,, he should have been stopped using whatever force was necessary.

If the cause of the warrant is irrelevant then why have you been pushing the narrative that it was for child molestation. You could have picked any number of offenses. Curious why you picked that?

Regardless, this is enough reason for the officer to be concerned.

I know I'd be concerned if this guy headed for his vehicle

Well you still missed the mark.

    https://www.newsweek.com/jacob-black-criminal-record-details-kenosha-shooting-1527708

You have no idea what he intended to do anymore than I do. And they could have stopped a chase without shooting him. By not chasing him. After all, he has a home, right? There's no evidence he intended to go on the run. Lastly, there's nothing to indicate the officers responding knew about his warrant. So if they didn't, they went in with a much more threatening posture than necessary.

Right. Just like Randy Weaver and David Koresh.

I've heard she was dealing drugs. Not sure what the full story is there. Wait until it is investigated.

And clearly that would have been even more concerning with his record of firearm possession.. Far easier to take him off the street as apposed to behind walls of a house..

The 911 call was from a woman at the house who called police telling them that Blake was there and wasn't supposed to be there and that he had grabbed her keys and wouldn't give them back. Since she identified him by name, they had time to know he had an arrest warrant for criminal trespass, domestic abuse and third-degree sexual before they arrived on the scene. A woman calling saying he took her keys and wasn't supposed to be at her home put police on higher alert due to his history. He's the subject of a long string of domestic disturbance calls before the current warrant.

This case shouldn't get as much sympathy as George Floyd or Sandra Bland, IMO. At least he's alive to hopefully get a lengthy jail sentence.

Police and their buddies lie in their reports of incidents. A lie making false accusations against a detainee is criminal defamation and should be prosecuted.

Lying is common practice amongst the police.

Police are conditioned by their buddies. Even the black ones. It is arguable that an ethical black policeman would not continue in a police service that was institutionally and systemically, racist. Therefore they are conditioned by the system.

Yeah you just persist in making it readily accessible for blacks to paint themselves as "victims". Best way to keep them on the "guvment plantation"!
