Ok I'll admit, I laughed pretty good at that.

I don't agree with that policy. Im not a fan of blanket policies in general. The issue is cops not knowing when to let up.

That video of the Swiss cops on vacation in NY who subdued a guy into NYPD showed up should be part of every US cops training on how to de-escalate

He was shot putting the knife away and by walking not by running as some people claim. He did not turn and face or attack the cop with the knife as some people say. So technically since the police found the knife inside the vehicle that means that he did not have it in his possession or on his person when he was shot. If the police had recovers the knife on the ground even a foot or inches away from the vehicle that still means that he was not in possession of it when he was shot. That may be be deemed a legal and good shooting but that is not a good visual for times such as this when we have two sides at each others throats.

It just seems as if the two sides have hardened their respective positions and the Black community in general views any any all police shooting of any and all Blacks as "wrongfull and unjustified and the right twingy Trump fans view any and all shooting of Blacks as necessary and justified. And now we throw in self styled self appointed teenage ninja vigilantes shooting demonstrators.

No !! tHe videos that I saw he was not shot while putting the knife in the van but after. i the policeman shot at him while he was putting the knife in the van the kids could have been in the line of fire and the cop could have put the kids in danger.

Look at the video again. Look at the direction the cop was facing when he shot the guy.

This thing about "he could have had another weapon in the van" does not fly. The shooting needs to be on not could haves would haves but on "did he".

    Technically, you're making **** up.

He has the knife in his hand when he walks in front of the vehicle.

I already posted a link to the video AND a screenshot the Daily Mail was happy to enhance for the viewing public.

Go look for yourself then come back and argue he didn't have the knife in his hand.

You probably will, but at least you'll KNOW you're wrong instead of believing you're right.

And the police are not allowed to use them...........strike one.

You left out the two TASER attempts.......strike two

You have shown otherwise for post after post, ignoring the threat he posed to others including the children in the car let alone the police who had a duty to either take in or take him down. Blake did not like the idea of the former and made that clear.

Then deal with those incidents and don't roll them all up into one. BTW I understand there is new evidence that Taylor was a suspect in her boyfriends crimes now.

YES, he was reaching into the car after having fought with the police, brandishing a knife and then trying to flee..............BAM A reasonable person would fear he is going for another weapon......BAM

I don't see why the left and the Dem local leaders keep trying to make a point with that.............SO WHAT? Does that mean they do not have a duty to stop it? The mayor of Chicago blamed people from Wisconsin for the violence there and the Governor of Wisconsin blamed people coming from Chicago for the violence there. These leaders blaming "other" people from the mystical island called "some place else".

Amazing isn't it now choke holds are OK to use because it fits the narrative he is trying to create.

Offer something that refutes it then, the witnesses confirmed Blake assaulted and fought with them, they they suddenly backed off yelling for him to drop the knife and then they TWICE attempted to TASE him. What don't you believe?

It just shows that 99.9% of normal people in those cities are not involved or want nothing to do with what the rioters and looters are aiming for. But, left wing mass media will keep on promoting their peaceful protest by local residents propaganda while the looting and rioting are done by the dozens of the same people over and over again.

Per this link the Police union rep
    https://kstp.com/minnesota-news/ken...-its-version-of-jacob-blake-shooting/5843322/

says that officers spotted a knife when they were on the passenger side.
A guy who took a video said that police told Blake to drop the knife. The video guy said that he did not see a knife in Blakes hands. Police union head Mathews said that the police first spotted "the knife" when they were on the passenger side of the car. So that does not track with people saying that he had a knife while he fought police.
State investigators only spoke about the knife that they found on the floor of the van. There was no report of another knife found by either the Police Union or the state investigators.

If Blake fought with the police and had a knife on him or in his hands where is that knife.

Again and again I say that since only one knife was found how could Blake have had two knifes.

If a reasonable person would assume that Blake was going for "another weapon" why was only one weapon found?

I have already posted all that to you and you keep yourself in denial. And yes it does track, the fight was on the passenger side, that is where the police first saw the knife. Why do you keep insisting there had to be two knifes, he dropped the knife when he was shot, IN THE CAR. That is where it was found.

Yet I hear people say that he was likely or possibly reaching for another weapon in the car. But there was only one weapon found so if he dropped the knife into the van as he was shot that proves that he could not have been reaching for another weapon. But some say "he could have been reaching for a gun in the van. Problem with that theory or allegation there was no fun found in his van only one knife.

So you see I am not denying anything.

If you are behind someone, a simple tap to the back of the knee joint will change their balance.

Yes it should, but taping behind the knee joint is far more reliable of a way.

Well, I'm not really schooled in law enforcement take-down techniques, but, I think if I had been equipped to do so, I'd have GASSED this perp with a cloud of tear gas (or something worse, if it were provided). People act like tear gas is 'no big deal' but the first time you get a nice, big snout full of it, you remember it the rest of your life! I remember it well from 'Vietnam War protest' days....

Then, after the perp's been gassed, clap on the handcuffs, throw his ass in the patrol car, and you're done! They usually have people back at the motorpool in the police departments to hose out the back seats after the perp's been unloaded. Oh, and if the perp gets 'rowdy' again? You give him another big blast of tear gas right in the face! Still rowdy? Whack him in the head with your stick! Get him booked-in at the 'front desk', and, you're done!

What's the down side? You go home after your shift, you have an adult-beverage, you don't have roving gangs of thugs raising hell in your front yard at your home, you don't lose your job, you don't get hit with multiple civil suits.... Sounds pretty good to me.... 8)

Other than the three kids in the back seat, I'd say that would be a great option.

I was thinking about a direct, focused spray in the perp's face, but, hey, nothing's perfect. Maybe if the police would or could have gassed Blake BEFORE he got in the car with the kids, it could have been done without peripheral 'issues'. But, like I said, I'm not a cop -- nevertheless, I do strongly support what 99.9% of the police DO. It's a job I wouldn't want for ANY amount of money.

The ONLY thing that matters is would a reasonable person believe he was reaching for a weapon PERIOD. He had already engaged in a violent assault on the officers, he had already brandish a weapon showing he was willing to use a lethal weapon against them then after being TASED TWICE he against the orders of the police did not drop the knife walked around the front of the car and opened the door, that's enough right there, and then he reached down into it..............BAM..............what don't you get here.

New evidence? You mean the guy they were looking for who was offered a plea if he said she was part of his criminal empire? That new evidence?

Anyway, I've said my piece. You dont get it and never will. Cheers

I get everything don't worry. We could disagree all year but I have not heard anyone Police union or state investigators or any whitnesses who have the proof that he brandished a weapon e.g. there is no proof that such a weapon physically existed. To make your contention that he brandished a weapon AND that he reached for another weapon in his van there would need to have been two weapons. You are saying that he "against police orders did not drop the knife". So at point you are confirming that he had "the knife " in his hands.

You say the " he reached down into it( van). Why?
Was he getting another weapon in addition to the one that he alledgedly was holding?

If the answer is yes then there absolutely needs to have been two weapons.

Why did the police only disclose that they recovered one weapon (knife).

Let's make believe that he was getting another weapon from the van.
The only type of weapon it could have been was a knife. So why bother if you already have one?
But you say that he had a knife is his hand when he reached the van. So
why would he get another knife if he already had one in his hands as you contend.

Again only one weapon was found and it was a one knife in the van.
How did it be into the van? If he dropped the knife into the van that means that he complied with police orders so why "BAM" as you say if he has complied with order to drop the knife?

We have the picture, we have the witnesses confirming the people were yelling at him to drop it, we have HIM telling the investigators he had knife.

NO.....................and stop trying to put words in my mouth when I have been EXTREMELY clear to you. All he had to do was APPEAR to be reaching for another weapon in the car WHICH HE DID.........................BAM
