https://www.citizenfreepress.com/br...shot-by-pellet-gun-after-removing-trump-sign/ The above is a good example of liberal thinking. Notice how near the end of the video the liberal says I hope he learned a lesson, hope he learned to think before acting, etc. It would never occur to her that she should think before acting.
In my neck of the woods the pellets would have came from a 12 gauge, from EITHER political persuasion. We all respect each others property around here. Peaceful here too!
So right off the start this screams red flag to me. She thinks that the sign is on her brother’s property when it was in the neighbors? Ok so, think about that for a second. That tells me she doesn’t recognize her brother’s property. Or she was trying to steal a trump sign. If this was right on the edge of a neighboring property line, then that could be an issue but from the video it looked like it was right in the top of the video. Most people have common sense. When you look at someone’s property, you get a quick idea of who’s is who’s. On top of that, what is she doing removing or attempting to remove someone’s property? She thought it was a prank, So what, you leave it alone.
As it should be. It's like that where I live too. TDS has made folks lose their minds. Between that and CDS (coronvirus derangement syndrome) I'm starting to think a chunk of the population has entirely lost their minds.
What kind of moron shoots somebody, with anything, for removing a piece of political cardboard advertising which will wind up in the trash, after the election, regardless of whether it's a Trump or Biden sign. He's lucky he's only charged with a misdemeanor offense.
Yea I'm a fan of this concept of respect. Step on someones property uninvited and you can have a warning, step on to steal or do harm and you get can have lead. It would be the prefect way to maintain civil order because no decent or sand minded person would risk injury or death over something as trivial as a sign and the ones that would, well, would they really be missed? But the law says we cant handle things this way. The law, in this regard and so many others, protects the criminals. Of course most of these types of laws were written during times when mistakes were more common than justified defense. Today the criminals run rampant and so maybe its time to reconsider such laws.
Under progressive ideology its ok to steal campaign signs, its ok to steal MAGA hats (even from children), its ok to steal from stores in certain cities as long as you keep it under $400, and generally speaking its ok to steal just about anything so long as you chant 'Black Lives Matter' in the process and set fire to the place afterwards. I guess my question is: how much lower can the bar sink?
Should be an easy NG....you can use non-lethal force to protect your property....the leftwing theft had no business doing what she did...they should throw the book at her
Notice how the fake news did not interview the shooter, so we only have one side of the story. If the news actually wanted to do their job in this case, perhaps we would know what the reason was for the shooting from the shooter's viewpoint. Perhaps this is just a case of a man in his late 70s whose nerves are on edge from the constant left wing rioting, looting, and violence. Maybe the reporter addressed him using a racial slur. That always seems to be a defense for any level of violence. The reporter committed a hate crime and the media defends her. No surprise.
What he does with his own property is up to him. Whether it ends up in the trash or part of a personal collection, that's no one's business but his. Furthermore that was his own money that he spent on it. It doesn't matter if it was only a dollar, it was his work that earned him the money and it was his money that bought him that sign. Nobody has any right to mess with what belongs to you. It's that simple. Keep your hands off of other people's property.
It's his sign, Not hers. I think the stupid bitch is lying. I think she knew all along who the sign belonged to. It doesn't matter what he was going to do with it. That is the problem with the left. They justify this kind of crap where they think they can **** with other people's stuff. If it she did that to me I would have initialized a citizen's arrest and detained her ass face down on the ground till the police got there.
Some Antifa folks showed up in our area the other day and one of our "citizens" explained mountain ways to them. He mentioned "bullets and backhoes" and "it's hard to find people in the mountains". Now anyone that lives up here knows that nobody would actually do that but those kids didn't know that but they bought it and left peacefully.
Weeks old thread? I did a search on "reporter" and "shot" back to June. I gather this did happen approximately 3 weeks ago but the link I posted was dated today and I don't recall a thread on this and I check this Current Events forum daily.
If you're going to steal people's property, no matter how trivial, expect consequences. The way to avoid said consequences is not to think yourself entitled to stealing or vandalizing other people's property. Trump is an asshat without a shred of doubt and he's possibly the worst president this country has ever had and despite even that, a Trump sign in a person's yard is their property and idiotic people no matter how righteous they think they're being need to keep their hands off.
What sort of person figures that everyone thinks just like they thing and thus that there will be no repercussions for stealing someone's property? Something to think about, eh?
Probably true. In fairness though, you're equating shooting someone with removing a sign, a typical example of right-wing thinking.
I made no such equating. I did state in an above post that the fake news did not get his side of the story. But that is not equating steeling a sign with shooting someone with a pellet gun. Can you provide specifics as to why you think I did?
