    I think it's implicit though. You cherry-picked her lack of foresight, not his. Nothing about whether he should have thought before he acted first (picked up a gun and shot someone)

    I know her explanation and story so I can comment. I don't know the shooter's story or explanation because the news media only presented one side.

    Trespassing to take down a political sign is a crime and suppression of free speech - a bad deed.
    Shooting a trespasser in the act of suppressing free speech is a good deed.
    The community as a whole receives a significant benefit whenever an aggressive criminal is caught and stopped in the act. This is America.

    A pellet in the butt is a very restrained measured response.
