Wow! Thank you for reminding me of this serious injustice in our Canadian history. And this article is from 2019..... Tuberculosis rate among Inuit is 290 times higher than for non-Indigenous people in Canada. Here's why Infection rates in the North are comparable to those in the developing world Stephanie Hogan · CBC News · Posted: Mar 08, 2019 4:00 AM ET | Last Updated: March 11, 2019
Except we need to keep a weather eye on the power behind that. The power elite are NOT socialists, but they do a great job of pretending they are, in order to keep that resentment fomenting.
I think you have finally figured out Trump is losing, and you're letting something slip out you really ought to keep hidden..
It means you are losing and are throwing tons of BS hoping something will stick. That you can't support the assertion is a dead giveaway.
Nope. There are many different things that get called Marxist. Not that you would know that. I was trying to get you to tell us what wrong way you use. But looks like you know you're full of it, and don't want to admit it... In most Marxist versions, the State owns the mean of production. Obama started his presidency by continuing the work to repair what Republicans had broken. So he did as much as the Republicans would let him do to fix the economy. At no point did he talk about the state taking ownership of the private sector. In some versions of marxism there is no private property. One of the things Rule of Law does is create stability, enabling the economic system. Law enables value. As a law prof, Obama knew that. For a couple months after Obama announced his candidacy he was quite candid. He understands how the world works to a depth few politicians can equal. I was genuinely impressed, and that doesn't happen often. So... no, not only is he not Marxist, he stands in opposition to it.
Yeh, but he could be a "cultural Marxist" Which basically is an educated-sounding way of saying, "anything I don't happen to like" if you're a rightist.
Is he? I have no idea, I'm not American. I could not care less about Trump. But I'm curious to know what you think I need to keep hidden.
Orientals and East Indians tend to be better employees than Whites because they tend to be more intelligent. (snark)
My initial statement, which I repeat, is that black under representation in positions requiring superior intelligence is not due to systemic racism and white skin privilege; it is due to the fact that blacks tend to be significantly less intelligent than whites and Orientals.
So, are Orientals and East Indians on average smarter than Whites? White privilege is alive and well in the workplace.
Yes. They also tend to be more prosperous than whites. This would not be true if white privilege existed.
I would be fine with scaling it back some. For instance, still give priority in federal contracts to female/minority owned businesses, but not require it for things like construction jobs where companies feel they have to hire no-show/no-work employees just to check a box.
White privilege still exists. I used to work with a lady from East India who talked about it. The system of White Supremacy was created to keep Whites at the top no matter who is smarter or harder working. The only reason some Whites like to bring up the "who is smarter" meme is to try to put Blacks down and offer an excuse for the wealth disparity between Blacks and Whites. In other words, it's an excuse for their racism. Simple as that.
No it isn't and it isn't even required in ALL workplace situations. My work currently has zero black employees.
