After the SC delivered the final blow to Trump's hopes of stealing the election, Giuliani promised to file more lawsuits.

This is beyond ridiculous. I do realize that the goal is the fundraising; it's to get more Trump followers to pay up. But at this point, judges should sanction Trump's lawyers for frivolous lawsuits wasting the courts' time and resources.

The fat lady has sung. It's over, and if doing it before yesterday's SC decision was already beyond the pale, continuing do to it now it is plain dishonest. Or rather, demonstrably dishonest (because it is arguable that it was already dishonest before that; just, now, it's so incredibly obvious that I wonder how gullible someone must be to continue to contribute financially to this effort - and as we know, the money goes directly to other uses).

Sad to watch , but in a democracy we have to let it run its course.

Keep in mind, as long as trump keeps filing law suits his 'village idiots' will keep sending him money to support his seeking of justice.

Straight out of the Alinsky playbook: accuse your opponents of doing all the nefarious things you do.

Ah, sure. Trump wasn't trying to steal the election, then. Gotcha. I wouldn't know that, if you hadn't opened my eyes. And here, silly me, I was thinking that putting pressure on State legislators to change the electors for them to go against the popular will, and filing bogus lawsuits filled to the bring with lies and misrepresentations trying to toss out legal votes, was an attempt to steal the election. Thank you sir, for teaching this silly me that it wasn't the case. What would I do, if not for your enlightened teachings? This is why it's so good to be a member of this forum, we learn from superior people like you.

He is being paid to do that. I think that is why lawyers do what they do.

"They are both elected and appointed, selected by Democrats and Republicans alike.

Some have served for decades — while others took the bench only months ago.

One is a former high school teacher, another the first Native American woman appointed to a federal judgeship. A third worked for years for a Republican governor who has been a vocal supporter of President Trump.

Since the November election, they have all ruled in court against Trump or one of his allies seeking to challenge or overturn the presidential vote.

In a remarkable show of near-unanimity across the nation’s judiciary, at least 86 judges — ranging from jurists serving at the lowest levels of state court systems to members of the United States Supreme Court — rejected at least one post-election lawsuit filed by Trump or his supporters."

Giuliani is a lawyer in title only. He is knowingly causing damage to confidence in our electoral system with these baseless suits in order to line his pockets and those of the Orange Menace. Despicable doesn't begin to describe what he's doing.

Trump is over -forget about him - that will be his worst punishment -

What does this have to do with some of Biden's horrible appointees ? such as ... Neera Tanden -

After 4 years of defending the indefensible actions of an incompetent cretin I understand how eager you must be to go on the attack. But if the weeks since the election have proven anything it is that Trump is most decidedly not over. Aside from trying to undermine the election his minions are hard at work in a scorched earth effort to leave government in shambles in any way possible before he leaves.

Silly part is that you do not see that as applying to Trump

Lame false accusation - Pathetic that you begin with a straw man -

lacking any ability to address the claim on the table you then go on talking about Trump .. as if this is relevant to Biden's choice of Neera .

My arguments against Trump are way better than yours - and you get b-slapped every time we are on opposite sides .. My apologies for that .... I have this tendency of being able to back people into logical corners .. from which they can not escape - and this often causes mental trauma.

It is an avoidance and denial mechanism .. somewhat similar to what often see in religious discussions with fundamentalists - when reality comes into conflict with dogma.

Now did you have anything you wanted to say about Neera - or did you wish to continue beating the dead Trump Horse ... sorry my bad rhetorical question

I'd like to hear about Neera. You should start a thread on it.

I responded to CenterField. I didn't know Trump posted here. But to your implication, what has Trump accused others of that he does himself, imagries in your mind not included?

It is despicable for a lawyer to respond to his paying client's wishes? In that case who would ever hire a lawyer?

Think someone did a while back - The woman claimed we should charge Libya for the cost of bombing Gaddafi - The President of the "Center for American Progress" - should know better.

I know why he is doing it. It doesn't make it any less despicable, and at this point, should be sanctioned.

An honest lawyer would advise his client that there was no prospect of a favourable verdict and advise against proceeding. It does his reputation no good to take futile cases. Hasn't a group of Lawyers asked the appropriate authorities for Giuliani to be disbarred?

How do you know what Giuliani did or did not advise his client? For what would you disbar him? Doing his job?

He is responding to his client's wishes. If lawyers didn't do that, they would go out of business. It isn't despicable. I didn't see any lawyers being called despicable for Russia dossier for that matter.
