He'd be banned by the moderators faster than you can say ''all Mexicans are racist''.

There are a few things I don't understand:

    1. Why Lin Wood and the Kraken woman hasn't been disbarred or whatever it is yet...
    2. Why it took Twitter so long to do this (that applies to Trump as well). I saw the post about Mike Pence and couldn't understand why he wasn't banned immediately.
    3. Why sections of the GOP are still clinging to Trump. Once McConnell cut him loose, that should have been the death knell, but for some reason the Josh Hawley's and Ted Cruz's (isn't he the one who's wife was called ugly by Trump?) of this world are still hitching their wagons to someone who's made it crystal clear that democracy is his enemy if it can't be used to promote his self-interests...

Trump pays taxes. Is he the only taxpayer?

If not, than other tax payers destroy public property.

This point has nothing to do with Trump.

Trump is losing power, I think Twitter was afraid of the mad man, they no longer fear him

I still use dialup modem for security access, and have no need to use Window.

For twitter and other text exchanges, and use the still working Linux Bulletin Board "apps", its pretty good security and that Demon Spawn Bill Gates is entirely blocked and he makes zero profits!

Just a thought to all of you Q'anon folks!

Yeah, I don't use any BBS's myself anymore, although I still use dialup connections directly for controls, which are handy if the use is for low speed 40k or so communication.

I remember getting a NEW 28.8 modem, about $300, and just so excited how quick I could get the day's modem news traffic in 2 or 3 hours instead of 4 or 5 hours!

I imagine the Twitter feeds could still go fairly fast if kept to mostly text!

    75 Millon?

    WHO are you referring to?

Trump's Actual Vote Total was Closer to 74 Million.
    74,223,251 to be Exact.

    When, did 74.223,251 become 75,000,000?

Where did the other 776, 749 People come from?

Is that the Same "New Math" that has some of Trump's supporters claiming that the 22.5% of the American Population (who voted Trump) represents "Half the nation"?
    :roflol:

I think That Trump Flunked Math.

Trump didn't get 75 Million Votes.

A horrible choice by FB and Twitter. It will only result in further polarization, perhaps to the point of boycott, and even 2 separate social media worlds in the future. If big tech continues down this path, I don't predict good results for them or the nation in the long run.

    I Disagree.

    It was a Great Move.

In Trump's Case, it came 5 year too Late...

    But, better Late than Never...

Trump should have been banned years ago.

The question is NOT "Why did they Ban him?"

The question IS "What took them so long?"

This path carries the risk of driving enough conservatives away that an alternative platform develops, and social media splits. It wouldn't be good for anyone.

So Trump has finally been suspended from Twitter after lying, like, a million+ times about fake news and a rigged election.

Trump's son, Donald Jr., has already stated that America lives in an Orwellian society where free speech only exists for a chosen few.

First of all, not true, citing the example of this forum and many others.

Second, even more important, Trump Jr. would say that, wouldn't he?
For the free speech he and his father seek is the kind that, PER DEFINITION, exists of lies.

    Lies about a rigged election.
Lies about fake news being the enemy of the people.

Which is, in itself, an attempt to make people believe only one voice.

In an Orwellian society, that Trump Jr, and his father desire, I would not have been able to write this piece. Or risk reprisal .

Aspiring dictators , like the Trump's, won't allow people to a have mind of their own.

Free thought is the first casualty of Fascism.

    Add qualifier: effective.

If the answer is no, combined with the fact that unelected officials control who use the tool, it poses serious questions about democracy.

Surely I don't have to explain why censorship is bad. You feign like you don't know that news media will simply not provide coverage of his pressers and speeches (as they have done in the past).
Thanks. Will play with it today.
You and the Keith Olbermanns of the world might want to convince me that an insurrection was attempted, but I don't agree with you. And I'm not the one who cackles when the sitting POTUS is deplatformed off the internet. Hell I found PF after getting banned elsewhere and the same sentiment is on these boards, as evidenced by posts like yours.

Oh...I dunno. A crowd of goons chanting "Hang Pence!" Carrying zip-tie hand restraints. Pipe bombs. Molotov cocktails. Weeks of social media posts calling for violence.

    Nah, just peaceful protesters.

Everybody knows what they saw. You can get on board with reality or stay hunkered down excusing the most vile criminal excuse for a president we've ever had. Your choice. Humanity? Or Trump? Up to you.

No I don't have to pick "humanity or Trump" because I'm not a simpleton. I disavow intolerance no matter which partisans are rioting or doing violence and I have said it ad nauseum since May. Call me a whataboutist, but it is no more rational to view the race riots as "mostly peaceful" than it is to view Jan. 6th as an "insurrection". Both understandings are wrong and you likely have both.

The post election circus has been satisfying to see, with trump and his cult not just defeated, but discredited and reviled by all decent Americans for their deplorable behavior since losing the election.
Having them also lose the Senate because of trump’s malignant narcissism was frosting on the schadenfreude.
Now that Twitter has banned him, it’s like being in a straight jacket with duct tape over his mouth.
Let’s see what other adventures await him and his gang before he’s formally gone.
I hope our enemies don’t try to take advantage at this time.

If you're going to reply, stick to the topic please. The summer is over. The threads are still there. Go there to discuss BLM. Okay?

You asked to be shown something...

I've shown you. Now you can address the evidence or not, but I rightly don't care about BLM at the moment.

I'm pretty certain that after this, there is going to be a long line of prosecutors waiting to get their piece of the family. The Trump Family Adventures are headed straight for lockdown. Lol. Sweet irony. Nation comes out of lockdown. Trump family gets locked up.
