When one makes continued unfounded accusations, yes they are delusional, that is the very definition.

Okay so why don't you make threads breaking down court cases and explain why judges refused to give standing. Why not reach out to them and try to deradicalize them? I've been doing the same in my small slice of the world and it has costed me socially but I'm happy knowing I've left everything on the table trying to revive liberal tolerance.
EDIT - ^^^^^ before it's dead for sure

You keep talking about your personal war with liberals, it cost you friends, you are happy with it and still call others delusional :)

I'm not at war with anyone, especially not liberals. Not really costing me friends, just future opportunities. Semi-small town life...

EDIT - "Delusional"... don't think I've ever said that someone was delusional because of their political beliefs. Most people are just confused as eff trying to understand their country's government and why it does what it does. That describes me and most others who are honest and curious.

Here's another (probably) long overdue shutdown...

The channel for Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast was removed from YouTube Friday evening.

For the same reason I don't make threads about the Earth being round. It is so universally accepted that it is round that it would be a waste of time and effort.
It is not for me to prove the election was not stolen it is up to Trump's legal team to prove in a court of law that it was. In 60 cases they failed to do so and in most they failed to even provide evidence.
This insistence that the election was stolen 2 months after the results is the direct cause of what happened on Wednesday. The inflammatory speech just before Trump directed his mob down to the Capitol was merely the cherry on top of the cake of incitement to overturn a free and fair election.

    We have a saying here

What did your last slave die of?

there have been threads a plenty on this board doing exactly what you suggest

If that is too much for you I suggest you start listening to people like Glenn Kirshner or Beau of the fifth Column

MSM will continue to give Trump a voice because people like yourself want to know what he is saying.

That's a tough one... Certainly need to corral some of the fringe news sites out there (we all know who they are by name anyway), but there needs to be a conservative viewpoint on the airwaves somewhere, and I'd rather it not be Trump run.

I imagine if regular MSM watchers turn them off, and Trump loonies turn them off, they'll either readjust what they are doing or die on the vine...

In my entire life, I've watched exactly 1 30 minute Fox "show" and will never try that experiment again... Some goofus named Jesse Watters?? What a shitshow that was...

We shall see.. I suspect that when his "voice" is no longer "official White House communications", he'll go the way of all failed autocrats... Prison, Exile, or worse...

Yelling fire in a crowded theater is dangerous also.
Inciting riots is social media is dangerous.

Do you think the people who went to Washington considered Trump's assertions bombastic? It appears to me they were extremely angry the election was stolen, and believed they could do something about it. Many were angry that Pence didn't do something - where do you think they got the idea there was something he could DO?

Well that's good that this effort can be found here. Just sick of people acting like everyday Americans are supposed to keep up with it all - like you or I may try to do a bit harder than they - in between daily waves of propaganda from media elites and the pressures of modern society. A ton of space for manipulation exists in the average person's life and I can't even blame people for not knowing truth anymore.

I myself have never met a person that recieves his rhetoric as anything but bombastic. Those people likely found it the same. Again, you can keep calling them rabid conspiracy terrorists but they're not convinced and this is something we need to solve for soon otherwise we'll see right-wing terrorism until a Democrat loses the executive.

I never said you condoned the violence. I don't think you do. That wasn't the argument.

Okay, thanks for the reply. I think you underestimate the gravity of the situation, which is what we've been hearing for 4 years. First, it was that he'd surround himself with experts, and they'd be the competent and effective guard rails. Then, he had Bill Barr mischaracterize the Mueller Report, as he rode that to impeachment, to which we were promised he had learned his lesson, to promoting the Big Lie of election fraud, to armed insurrection. I'm sorry you don't see it that way. Everybody else sees the gravity of the situation. It's Trump. He's not being shunned by the entire world because of nit-picking a cherry-picked word or two from a speech.

Yeah, there is a lot of stupid flying around at the moment. If one can move easily to another platform, and the person being discriminated against is not in a protected class, you move. And many conservatives are moving to Parlor, but, Google Play Store just banned them over content and Apple is hinting that they will ban them as well. If you can't load the app on either of the two major platforms, and they are coordinating, that may be something that has to be dealt with and very likely will be.

On the other side you have this clown:

Senator Hawley Fist Raises The Crowd Before They Storm The Capitol.
Simon and Schuster cancels his book deal, and while certainly no act of courage:
    https://hotair.com/archives/ed-morrissey/2021/01/08/josh-hawley-loses-book-deal/

Josh Hawley isn't just some clown posting on a debate forum. He's a former State AG, Yale Law School graduate and clerked for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, yet, clearly he is also a moron when it comes to how we mutually secure one another's rights in the American system of governance.

We have more than enough people saying and doing stupid things, and are long overdue for common sense to unexpectedly breakout all over the place. I remain hopeful that that moment is just around the corner to be welcomed as a most pleasant surprise. We have a long history of truly great people arising at precisely the moment we need them.

I'm not very opinionated on social media outside their legal rights as private companies and that they are responding to violence.

I couldn't agree more with your points on Hawley, and what's inconceivable is that such an intelligent and accomplished man would not have the common sense to avoid such a photograph. There's something at play here that isn't readily apparent. He knows better. Is it purely a political gamble, or is he sincerely entrenched in a new "ideology" of Trump? He's a young man with presidential ambitions. Jumping in head first, drunk on power, with dreams of an unlimited supply of power, seems to indicate Hawley lacks the level of judgment required to run the country. I think he's toast. I see many GOP hopefuls going down the tubes here the last few days.

    It was a joke.
The only words I want to hear from Trump now are ''I'm truly sorry for what I have done to this once great nation''.
