Propane is generated as a byproduct of cracking (petrolium) and also a byproduct of cleaning natural gas. Petroleum and natural gas are two similar, but different, fossil fuels in their natural state.

Is that a good reason to pollute the atmosphere and change our environment for the worse......just because we can ? The economy is not in your side any more then it is to kill more whales for whale oil....just because there are still some left.
This pandemic is exacerbated by AGW ....illegal immigration is exacerbated by AGW. Our own military included AGW in all of its long range plan, as have every relate climate research institute in the world.

I'm sorry but it's the deep end and you are sliding lower. You have no idea what you are talking about. Someone said in a meme that his truck didn't run on pixie dust and unicorn piss. Don't cry now but he was right.

Seriously, outside of Fix News in the real world, not believing AGW and believing in the Jewish space laser are pretty close to unanimous in the world of strange ideas.

In both cases you have to pretend you’re smarter then all accredited universities,

Both come from the same wells. We process oil as well and break it down into several products but it's all petroleum. It all comes from drilling wells and shipping via pipeline. We break natural gas down into butane, propane and ethane. Ethane is what most of us heat our homes with. No wells no burny stuff.

"Natural gas, is a naturally occurring hydrocarbon gas mixture consisting primarily of methane, but commonly including varying amounts of other higher alkanes, and sometimes a small percentage of carbon dioxide, nitrogen, hydrogen sulfide, or helium."

We heat our homes with the mix but which is mainly methane.

How much of that hydrogen sulfide stuff do you use at your place? We used to flare that.

I hope you don’t mean that natural gas is petroleum. Petroleum is a LIQUID as far as any definition we’ve read.

    That's according to Breitbart.
    Oh please.

We all know that Biden is pushing to end fossil fuel, and the US hops on that bandwagon to implement better and other ways to power the country.
That is just going to cause a lot of other job opportunities. Solar plants are not going to be build by themselves.

You can harness electricity even from sweet water flowing next to salt water. Which happens in about every river that meets the see.
"why are we not funding this"

It's better than having Dumpling Donald trying to uproot democracy.
You know the Chinese governments pays him "rent" to use his offices.
Probably a hefty sum that gets something in return as well.

Google it. I did. Look, I get that the petroleum industry includes nat gas as part of their energy package and technically to them it comes from similar sources. . But, nat gas capable of supplementing and even replacing the liquid, more toxic form of energy without argument in many areas, including those that were typical thought of as sacrosanct like diesel and jet fuels. The debate is not about ELIMINATING any particular form of energy but decreasing the pollution. Nat gas is important and we have begun to realize it just like we havd shifted away from coal to petroleum. Just because you may call nat gas a petroleum product is no excuse to use dirtier products like tar sands oil.

    It's all:
How dare Democrats be successfully doing business in a capitalistic world, it does not work with me accusing them to be communists!
    How inconsiderate of my feelings.

I know where it comes from and I told you. I spent my whole life in the production and processing of natural gas.

Joe's bans are effecting gas production as well as crude. We have to drill to get it and then we need pipelines to distribute it. Your views are in opposition to use of these products. You are entitled to your views but you really should try to understand what you're trying to kill and I don't think you have done real research on it. You read a few sites supporting all this clean energy that doesn't really exist in a practical sense at this point.

What we have here is not so much solar as windmills. I have no idea how practical they are but it takes miles and miles of the ugly things to do what they do. To the best of my understanding they are a supplemental source. With the company that supplies my home with electricity there is an option to use solar or wind generated power but it costs more.

Natural gas burns cleaner than coal which is why it is being used to replace coal powered generating plants. It's good for everyone but the coal miners. There is a human element to all these squabbles and no, they aren't all going to build solar systems.
