You’re delusional. Everything is not petroleum. Home heating, aviation fuel and long haul diesel have been mandated to incorporate natural gas blends as a bridge fuel for years now. They are upping the percent used in aviation every few years as a cleaner burning bridge fuel for blends made from nat gas. Bio diesel blends have been incorporated into public transportation for over a decade.
we are awash in natural gas which is much cleaner burning. A big reason the price of fuel oil has stabilized is cleaner burning nat gas for home heating....You’re dreaming....

 

Everything in your delusional life may be, not mine. All our hand held power tools are lithium batteries, generator is propane/ nat gas ,home heating is pellet stove and even some of diesel we use has started converting to blends. You’re in a dream world.

Propane is a petroleum product that we get from processed natural gas. Fracking is a big contributor to our supply of natural gas. Your lithium batteries were manufactured through the use of petroleum products and hauled to the supplier you bought them from on Trucks fueled by petroleum products.

 

How many tides does it take to drive your car across country? Nothing in your home got there without using petroleum products to manufacture and deliver it including your lithium batteries.

I spent 40 plus years producing and processing natural gas from wells that were fracked both offshore and on.

 

The Keystone pipeline would have ultimately created less than 40 permanent jobs. Probably would kill more permanent jobs but have the benefit of safety and efficiency.

In short, you temporarily create more jobs by building it, like a stadium or border fence. But in the end you lose jobs.

 

It’s not petroleum. A natural gas furnace functions without petroleum. You have this stupid idea that using petroleum to make an energy generation source that you some how have to depend upon petroleum. No you don’t.

And, there are a plethora of sources when in use, don’t depend upon petroleum.

Obviously I’m right. Just because we used coal to transport oil and generate electricity to drill for oil, does not mean we can’t and have reached a point where we are not dependent upon coal.
You are the one over your head. You didn’t even know we are using synthetic blends now in increasing amounts as a substitute for more polluting fuels.

The same for nat gas, and any of the renewables, all of which are derivatives of sunlight.
