Biden skips out on joint Putin presser, will go it alone

For those of you who haven't been around politics that long; this is a significant. When world leaders meet but wont do a press event together when such an event is the norm it is typically an indication that the meeting went (or is expected to go) poorly, that one of the leaders was outmatched by the other, or that the administration resisting joint appearance wants to control the story.

I think we all know that in the case of Pres Biden all three will be valid. Biden is weak, Putin is strong. Biden has nothing to make Russia bend with, Putin has China to make the US bend to. Biden talks big when his counterpart is thousands of miles away, Putin talks big whenever he pleases. Biden cant handle criticism (he blows up at random US voters asking simple questions), Putin is in control of his facilities. I'm not a huge fan of Russian but their leader is pure cold steel and ours is a wet noodle. It does not surprise me in the least that we wont be seeing these two standing side by side taking questions from an open field. What we will see is a pre-planned pre-approved pre-scripted event that will allow Pres Biden to read from his notes and pat himself on the back. What we will see (what we're already seeing) is the MSM celebrating a job well done when absolutely nothing has or will be accomplished.

But there are some things that cannot be hidden behind puff piece pseudo-journalism, things which tell the truth about the strengths and weaknesses of leadership. This is one of those things.

 

Biden called Putin a killer and now he wants to talk to him? Interesting.

 

Biden’s handlers are going to have a rough time preselecting friendly reporters to ask him pre planned questions, especially if his wife isn’t there to save him.

 

Biden's handlers probably don't want Putin snickering at Biden's one syllable answers.

 

That doesn't sound good.

 

Having a separate news meeting is nothing.

 

Do you have any ideas on why they changed the format? I don't believe Biden is afraid of Putin. Remember a couple months back when Biden said he (Putin) was a killer and Putin responded that he would meet with Biden at any time? He pulled his Ambassador out around that time also.

I meant that changing it to a one-person presser doesn't sound good. And, no, I do not believe relations are good with Russia right now. I could be wrong because I haven't looked into that aspect closely.

 

Why they changed is anybody's guess, but the fact that Biden is having a solo conference after he meets is no big deal.

 

Biden's clearly in over his head this time. Putin said let's debate but no teleprompter or earbuds.

What threat can you dream up that Putin actually posed to the US in the last 10 years?, for example. Can you tell me why the DEMOCRATS sanctioned Russia Russia Russia for the fake ass Steele Dossier? The 'we're still pissed Hillary lost to Trump' so it's the Russian's fault is getting pretty damn old. How many sanctions were issued because of FAKE NEWS???

Remember when those evil Russians put those bounties on our troops and the yelling started for more knee-jerk sanctions??? Yeah, you remember, just as fake as the Steele Dossier.

Russia, if anything, ought to give us the ****ing finger for the stupid **** the Democrats have subjected them to.
