    I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure that the flu vaccine is effective at doing what it's advertised to do which is to prevent getting the flu in the first place a key Hallmark of an actual vaccine.

    Exactly! For example, Biden has come out and said that these agents will "PAY" for doing their job! Now, do I think that he actually believes that they did anything wrong? I actually doubt it. At this point, this pathetic JOKE of a man, this absolute DEMENTIA patient, is just saying what he thinks the radicals to his left want him to say! That hilarious thing though is, it won't work! It's not as if those radicals care if these agents are punished, and they will be happy for the border patrol to continue its work and all is well - they don't want any border patrol AT ALL!

    You seem to be under the impression that the CBP is not part of the Biden Administration. It is, just as it was part of all previous administrations.

    Sure seems to be a lot more effective than the so-called covid vaccine.

    They don't even make the claim that the covid vaccine will prevent you from getting it to begin with.

    And as I stated previously the question is whether or not the person in charge (in this case Secretary Mayorkas) made the decision in question based on a 'bottom up' advice or alternately a 'top down' instruction. Bottom up? Senior personnel in his agency advised him that, based on what was currently known and considering all available options X was the best possible course of action.

    Top down? His immediate superior in the Biden Administration (or someone representing him) advises him that the preferred course of action in this case was Y and that's what he was was directed to do.

    There's a big (huge) difference between the two.

    No I'm not. See my point above, i.e. where you get your advice (or orders) from matters.

    And that's been my point all along. I don't automatically assume the change in procedure regarding horses (temporary or not) was a 'top down' decision. Could it have been? Yes. I just want to see the evidence before forming an opinion one way or the other.
