They were not coming over in these high numbers before they became president and VP. Coincidence? I don't think so.

It looked over the top and pretty inhumane to me.

You sound like you know a lot about law enforcement. Tell me, what do you do with people who are breaking the law right in front of your eyes who refuse to comply with your lawful commands as a duly-sworn agent of the state? Do you just let them break the law? Or do you apprehend them to hold them accountable for their actions?

I heard Peppermint Paty say they were not going to stay long so it was not our worry… I have yet to see her explanation of exactly where they are going..

There is no problem with law enforcement using horses. I've traveled five continents and both sides or the Equator: 29 countries and counting. I saw mounted police in every single country, used for crowd control and large events where they can quickly get to places even motorcycles can't. Horses are amazing animals able to traverse almost any terrain, jump over curbs, all while under the control of their rider with whom they have a true bond. One of the coolest things I've ever seen is the NOPD making their horses dance down Bourbon Street on Fat Tuesday. Following them is a water truck symbolically washing away all the debauchery (and a lot of puke and horseshit LOL). It is a sight to behold.

Exactly what is inhumane about putting a horse between where an illegal is and where he wants to go illegally?

As I have been around horses and horse riding all my life .. from some post on here, I can tell some folks have never been on a horse.

She meant they weren't going to stay long at the border. They are going to Phoenix, Houston, Santa Fe, New Orleans, Newark, Green Bay, Tacoma, Eugene, Boulder, Provo, Oklahoma City, Knoxville, Pacoima, San Jose, Tampa...

Pulling people by the collar is inhumane? Surely you can't be serious!

Because he said basically the EXACT same nonsense about 'unity' in his inauguration speech as Biden did?

In which case, not only would Biden not be responsible, but Mayorkas wouldn't be responsible either?

Mayorkas' immediate superior? He's as high as it gets in the Department of Homeland Security given that he heads it. So his immediate superior would be Biden, but perhaps that's who you're referring to.

The decisions that someone else makes can be reversed by another person can't they?

No you're not nice to people who break and enter. You hold them and make their life suck until they go home.

If they want to be Americans they can do it the proper way.

No, not at all. Mayorkas is the in the chair. If he is the one who makes the decision. He's the one wares the consequences. End of story.

Mayorkas' immediate superior? He's as high as it gets in the Department of Homeland Security given that he heads it. So his immediate superior would be Biden, but perhaps that's who you're referring to.[/QUOTE]

Again, as per the above. The man (or woman) who makes the decision owns responsibility for it. If the person in charge of Homeland Security made it and then told Mayorkas to implement it? That person owns it. If Biden (or someone in his direct circle after consulting him did so? Then Biden wears it.

The dictionary definition of responsibility. Everyone want's the power that comes with high office. But if history shows anything it's that only rare individuals are truly prepared to shoulder the responsibility that comes with that office.
