What's the problem with law enforcement using horses?

I don't see the problem. Assume X makes a decision (for good or ill) . If that decision is to be reversed it can only be done by X himself (i.e. changing his/her mind) or else by Y a person higher up the chain of command with in authority over X. If that happens then by default Y automatically assumes responsibility for the decision they have just made. That should be obvious.

The illegals that came across at the Del Rio section of the border are primarily originally from Haiti. Yet, the majority have not been back to Haiti in more then five years. They have been living and working in Chile. They are here now supposedly to seek asylum, and not because they were invited to come here to work.

Here is their problem. By settling in a stable country with a stable economy, they gave up their right to seek asylum in the US. This is in accordance with the current US laws dealing with asylums. That brings us to another constitutional point. Article II, Section 3 requires the President to " take care that the laws be faithfully executed.". It does not limit that to those laws you agree with, or allow the President to use Executive Orders to change the laws.

So, stop parroting false narratives. The illegals were not invited, and have no business being here. Blocking them on horseback is not treating them inhumanely.

Just curious... if pulling a collar is inhumane....would pepper spay, stun guns, tear gas, and any of the non lethal methods used on Americans be OK to use in this situation?...

I will grant that the Border Patrol was woefully undermanned, trying to stop way too many people, with way too few officers. But that's not an excuse for the apparent rough treatment the refugees.

If the migrants were being violent perhaps.
Do you have any evidence that they were attacking the Border Force?

What was over the top and inhumane about routine crowd control?

Go and refuse the lawful orders of law enforcement and see if they don't get rough with you? It was the illegals getting rough trying to force their way through the border officers.

Stop means stop... when did those rules change with law enforcement?

They were disobeying law enforcement... stop means stop... you don't have to "violent" to be tasered or wrestled down and subdued as an American so the illegal invaders should be treated the same...

These were desperate poor people, there must've been a way to deal with them without charging them horseback, dragging them around by the collar and whipping, or whipping at, them with reins.

Whatever happened, christians, to; "whatsoever you do into the least of these, my brethren, you do unto me".

If Christ was among them would you treat him like that?

For the second time, these people are not refugees: They are run-of-the-mill unlawfully present aliens.

What about the other side of the coin? The Haitians are breaking the law. Christ said "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's" which means obey the law. .

That being said, the photographer said he did not see any of them being whipped and certainly grabbing them by the collar, if they did that, does not amount to much.

These people made a choice to violate the laws of a sovereign nation. The consequences of such actions can include corporeal restraint. But since you are suggesting these officers used excessive force and "there must've been a way," please state in your view what that "way" is.

Irrelevant. The laws of this sovereign nation are passed by the Congress, not your religious fantasies.

Seriously, these people act as if the aliens were gang-raped on national TV. If getting grabbed by the collar while participating in a human stampede is the worst thing that happens to you, consider yourself lucky.

Obviously you haven't seen the pictures. U.S. needs to do better.

It was plenty, if it was your collar, you'd change your tune.

If it was my collar, I'd acknowledge that I was suffering the consequences if my own unlawful actions for which I am solely responsible.
