They'll have no more say than they did 6 months ago.... And if their "say" involves threats or insinuation of threats, they will be logged going forward, which I generally applaud... I mean seriously, do you think any real count of parents has a better clue of how their children should be "schooled" than trained, educated educators?? A = No
And keeping schools closed is a great way to teach children. Like I said parents who voted for Biden voted against him in NJ. And I have no doubt they will again vote against him in the 2020 elections.
Yeah, that's going to happen. Are you kidding? If the new governor keeps his word, kids have a better chance of getting sick.
.raef wos sbupeR ,nrevog smeD Hell if you're gonna get it completely backward then at least put forth some effort and style to it
A BFD. Universal pre-K, affordable child care, paid family leave, Medicare prescription drug price negotiation, expanded Affordable Care Act subsidies and closing of the Medicaid coverage gap, huge investments in speeding the transition to renewable energy, affordable housing.
Still running last years election, are we?? Parents who buy any claim that anybody in the GOP knows what's best for your child, when they cannot even conduct themselves like normal humans, are idiots... I'd like to think as a parent, I've given my child the best gift possible... the knowledge to distrust everything "American Conservatism 2021" tries to sell/shove up asses...
Mostly paid for over 10 years and all for less than the price of the failed war in Afghanistan... Freaking socialists.... how dare they try and improve society... Now it just needs to survive Redneck Rambo and his partner in crime....
I'm fine with them adding dental into medicare. Just tack on another 0.05% to the medicare tax. I'm not sure why I would need to pay for anyone's college or child care though. There are ways to go to school without racking up huge debt. Childcare sucks but no one is forced to have kids. Family leave and renewable energy isn't the government's (my) responsibility. Drug prices should be worked on and should have been worked on for the last 50 years.
R&D is expensive and someone will have to pay for it. I have no problem with government subsidized drugs.
Biden deliberately lost a won war in Afghanistan. Made the largest transfer of advanced weapons to terrorists ever made, and he left Americans behind, and Dems supported him through all of this. You richly deserve your pending election disaster.
A won war? The army and the civil institutions we spent two decades pouring money into lasted less than two weeks on their own. That war has been lost virtually since it started. Biden at least finally pulled the plug and pivoted to investing in our infrastructure and our people here in the United States.
Good grief, what a snarky reply. And aren't you the virtuous one! Wow, how did I ever presume to say anything to you? You're so far above me, I can't even crane my neck far enough to see you. And oh! Thank you so much for the taxation lesson! My ignorance was so profound! And you're so knowledgeable! </sarcasm> Sheesh.
Among 10K other reasons... nowhere to go but up, but I really didn't expect him to have much success there. I feel he'd have better luck getting through to a garden gnome, but he did get some nice votes on his Infrastructure package... you have to start somewhere...
2 decades, trillions of dollars thrown away to an ass backwards Country that folded faster than the French did in WW2 and you call it a won war?? Wow, just wow.
The BBB bill only subsidizes unionized electric car makers. How does that help in getting through to everyone?
Biden is a garden gnome. Totally partisan vote is all democrats have. I suppose you like the second biggest expense in the bill reducing taxes for the most wealthy.
Except for the Infrastructure vote, which was somewhat partisan... But you can't fix stupid, especially in 10 months...
Very few policy decisions are intended to "get through to everyone"... Also, that's not most people's definition of "divisiveness". Policy decisions are supposed to be for the good of the country as a whole... However, as with 99% of them, there will be winners and non-winners... Plus, much like vaccine mandates, there's an UNBELIEVABLY easy way to fix the "problem" you state...
You mean millions of other people will be sucking at the government teat, and expecting their neighbors and countrymen to pay their bills. They (and you) can and should pay their own damn bills and stop being so greedy.
