I totally agree. Simply remove the "only union" part. Why limit the goodness?

Actually then, there are 2 easy ways....

Really sucks that Joe and his bill are pushing hard for American manufacturers and local labor to get a boost here... If conservatives TRULY want to bring jobs and products back to being made in this country, this is the sort of move that might actually lead to some of that...

Personally, I don't really give a crap if EV's are made with union or non-union labor, but from what I'm reading, the cars have to be physically manufactured in the US to get this credit, regardless of the manufacturer... isn't that a good thing for the MAGA crowd?? I'm pretty sure the word America appears in MAGA...

Of course, my problem is that I LOATHE American made vehicles, should my next purchase be an EV....

This is grounds, alone, to sink this monstrosity.

CHINA COLLUSION: Build Back Better: Dems Ignore Pressure to Include Measure Preventing Taxpayer Dollars From Going to Entities That Use Slave Labor.

When Will Democrats Just Say No To Slave Labor?

Refuses To Prevent Red Ink Monstrosity From Funding Slave Profiteers.

"House Democrats ignored pressure from human rights advocates" decent human beings "and Republican lawmakers to reinsert into their $1.9 trillion spending bill a measure that would have blocked federal funds from going to Chinese entities that use Uyghur slave labor."

How did it get stripped out in the first place, and at whose urging?

"The Democrat-controlled House on Friday passed President Joe Biden's Build Back Better Act, which greatly expands spending on social programs and climate issues. Democrats stripped the Uyghur provision last week, which generated outrage from human rights groups" decent human beings "and Republicans who pressed for the language to be reinserted. Despite adding at least a dozen last minute amendments to the bill, Democrats did not add the Uyghur provision back into the final text."

What's with this weird pulse among Democrats to fund Slavers?

"It's truly shameful that Democrats so brazenly removed a common-sense section prohibiting taxpayer dollars from going to slave labor and seem to have no remorse and no explanation why,"

    Why would they support Genocide?

I'm fine with students being able to bankrupt out of student debt as long as half of the write down is clawed back from the institution they spent it at.

Alexandria Conquistador Donkey-Chompers Says Taxpayers Should Have to Pay Her $17K Student Loan—Even Though She Makes $174K a Year.
“In a famous Soviet joke, then-leader Leonid Brezhnev shows his mother his luxury apartment, his limousine, his fancy country house and his helicopter only to have her object: ‘But what if the communists come back?’”

Makes $174k a year, thinks YOU should repay her $17k in student debt.

She's in the top 7% of US wage earners. She earns more than 93% of Americans, yet, she feels entitled to someone else paying back the money that she benefitted from and that she agreed to pay back as a condition of getting it. In short, she gave her word, we gave her the money. Now she wants to stiff us on repayment.

    https://dqydj.com/income-percentile-calculator/
I think we've had it with these clowns.
More Democrat Payoffs For The Filthy Rich

“Canceling” all student loan debt would give the top 20% of income earners six times more benefit than the bottom 20% of income earners.
Oh, we do. Dems are robbing us of everything they can lay their hands on with these $Trillion Dollar Plus back to back to back Inflation Fueling Red Ink Orgies.

This is all window dressing. I would be truly shocked if it did not pass. This is what the elites want and they tend to get everything they want. The Republicans will pretend to object but the bill will get that one vote to pass and that will be that. Then the Republicans will win in a landslide in 2022..... when it doesn't matter anymore and the damage is done. These bills are aimed directly at impoverishing the working and middle class by making their energy costs go through the roof. All that money will be flowing in to the hands of energy brokers who are looking to make trillions in grift.

They can't point to a single damn thing in these bills that does anything but harm ordinary Americans. The World Economic Forum tells us what they want to do and provide the slogan, the Democrats use the slogan and proceed to implement exactly what the World Economic Forum advertised. This is happening in almost all countries in the Western world. It will be remembered as the great impoverishing. The standard of living has dropped sharply under Biden and that will accelerate after these two new bills take affect (along with the affect of the millions of illegals that came in to America in the past 9 months and the millions more that will come in during the next year).

No I think republicans (except for those in office) support denying as much money as possible for government to waste. Government spending is taking us down. A little less would help a little.

Biden and the Dems claim that the gasoline of BBB will extinguish the fires of inflation. No one with a brain is fooled.

Major fail: Just 38% back BBB, only 62% Democrats.

“As Democrats scramble to save President Joe Biden’s $2 trillion Build Back Better spend-and-tax plan, more voters are sending a signal that it’s time to cut bait and move on. In the latest gauge of the slumping support for the controversial leg of Biden’s social welfare agenda, Rasmussen Reports said Friday morning that just 38% of likely voters support BBB. Another 45% are opposed. What’s more, Democrats are bailing on the program. The pollster found that just 62% of Democrats ‘support’ the plan that spreads money across several social welfare issues.”

We need productivity, not hot money.

Under Biden the Demented productivity crashes. You have to go back to before JFK to find a bigger crash.

Looks like this 'Build-Beggars'-Bullshit-Better' thing is dead this year... but don't worry! If there's one thing in this world that Democrats have as their Number #1 CORE-COMPETENCY, it's erecting gigantic, never-ending, handout-welfare programs. Thus, bet every last dime you have that they'll be back at it next month....

Did you complain when Trump handed out $2 Trillion freebies?

But corporate welfare is just fine, right?

What people say and what it will do are two different things.

they poo pooed Obamacare, but now most people like it.

Inflation is a tax on the poor, but the right won't let dems repeal the massive tax breaks to the rich, which was the money what would have paid for the stimulus which caused the inflation.

What to lick inflation? Elect more democrats.

I'm sure you are talking about a tax break but since you didn't even hint at a reference, I'll assume.
Tax breaks are not "freebies". That's letting you keep some of your money.
Giving people money that other people had to pay is a freebie.
Don't know when you guys will realize that corporations don't pay taxes. They simply collect the taxes from their customers and pass it on.

Depends on who it is given to and how much.

when the burden of taxation is lowered on the rich such that it shifts the burden to everyone else, then the rich are being subsidized by those taxpayers, mostly owing to inflation given that lowing taxes on the rich contributes to deficit spending which causes inflation.

    That's when it becomes a freebie. .

    -1% in 2017.

Otherwise, before the pandemic, Trump increased the public debt from 104% to 107% of GDP in three years.

In the last quarter of 2016, the debt was 105%. It didn't go above that level until the last quarter of 2019 when it rose to 106% and then jumped to 135 in Q2 2020.

How do you think that nonsense is selling?

"Stimulus" is more money, without more production, which is what is fueling the flames of inflation. Under Biden the Demented and the Dems, productivity just took the biggest squat of most of our lifetimes.

You're approach isn't working, but like a gambling addict, the Left will just keep doubling down until they run out of chips.

    Americans know.

I&I/TIPP Poll: Americans Blame Biden, Not Big Business, For Inflation And Supply-Chain Chaos
Americans hold Washington accountable for inflation and President Biden and government regulations for supply chain issues.

    Failure.
We aren't "divided". We are in broad agreement.
Who is responsible for Buttigeig's supply chain mess?
    Broad bipartisan agreement.
It all went to hell when Dems consolidated power. It was a two strike deathblow to the US economy. Biden immediately signed a stack of EO's which he bragged undid the Trump Economy and Dems passed a massive unneeded $Trillion dollar plus stimulus, light the fire that continues to rage out of control.

Move your finger over the graft to when Dems took control of the Senate and WH adding that to their existing House control.

Although you've 'painted' with an overly-broad, and not entirely accurate 'brush', why is it that every half-witted, economically-irresponsible thing that 'woke' Democrats dream up is always accompanied by the war chant, "TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP... (on and on)...?

BTW, spending vast sums on actual, honest-to-gosh INFRASTRUCTURE is fine, and a damn good idea! But where is the radical neo-socialist's justification for Geriatric Joe's titanic new handout welfare program?!
