I spend 80% of my time here bashing democrats. I think their ideology is immoral and anti American. This is about winning elections for republicans! This is about taking power from Biden and the democrats. Calling me a lib just makes you sound dumb.

There are 2 political parties that matter in this country. The objective for both is or should be to appeal to a plurality of the population. 51%. What people like you are doing is appealing to the 35% who love Trump. Not every district or state is conservative. Not every district and state loves Trump. Obsessing about an election that occurred a year and a half ago is not the way to win in November.

Trump is not popular with over 50% of the voting public. That is a fact. Why would you put all your hope on him?

 

While I agree with this, the same could be said about Hillary, the popular vote...dismantling the electoral college...Russian collusion...yadda yadda yadda. But you won't say **** about any of those, (shocker) so why the **** should I care about your bias hot takes on voter fraud? Especially when you don't want to get behind things like voter ID laws which would help make voting more secure.

 

Look at the methodology of these posters. He calls me a lib when I have been one of the most forceful critics of the democrat party on these boards. Pushing people away is not good politics.

This may come as a shock to the system but people had it better under Trump in general and the world was a much more stable environment. They may have voter regret and go back to him and his policies to help right the ship Biden has almost capsized.

I'd prefer DeSantis but ANYTHING is better then democratic policies. Democratic policies are the problem. It's not Biden. He's just a puppet. It's the ****ing DNC. If you vote in the DNC they push far far left progressive policies that are disastrous. I see a huge push back/snap back as a result of people seeing the fruition of DNC policies and they may have to recalibrate as a result.

Voting in Trump is the biggest middle finger you could point at the DNC. It's more of a statement of discontent then anything else.

That's the hope. Or we keep sailing on this sinking ship pretending that "soon it will be fine, you'll see!"

 

Do you think mail in voting is fundamentally a great look for voter trust or do you think it's a bad look? EVEN THOUGH NO FRAUD WAS FOUND...do you think people are going to trust wide spread mail in voting over going in and physically handing in your vote?

Especially when you see **** like this happen in the middle of the night?



While investigations proved nothing actually went wrong, do you think people looking at **** like this are ever going to trust mail in voting? Or the results in general? That there will always be skepticism regarding the subject?

 

Trump filed his law suits. We had recounts in 3 states. Nothing has changed. Here is a Harris-Hill poll from June that shows that 56% of republicans believe Biden won. 56% of republicans!

He did not get 50% so there was run off and enough Trump supporters stayed home for Ossoff and Warnock to win 2 months later. Thanks!

 

You need to get over all that. Nobody cares. The optics of the past election look horrible and divisive. I just ****ing said twice (because I knew once wouldn't be enough and twice apparently isn't either) That there was no fraud in the 2020 election. I'm telling you that OPTICALLY it looked BAD. That mail in voting inherently seems rather less secure and more easily duped than physically going to a polling station.

That changing the way we vote so drastically and then getting weird results by people counting the votes who are wearing ****ing Biden apparel is going to put people off from ever trusting anything to do with the 2020 election. That's the reality.

Trump isn't going to change the 2024 results. The democrats are losing the Latino vote. They are losing voters hand over fist because their policies suck ass. People know that the republican party is Trump right now and they don't care. I think you could put anyone on the republican ticket at this point and they will win. It's that ****ing bad.

Look at Virginia. He lost that state by 10 points and then Youngkin and Sears won months later.

Trump is not as popular as republicans in general. Open your eyes. There are people who do not like Biden at all but still voted for him because they dislike Trump more.

So why didn't the democrats use their voodoo to help get Terry McAuliffe elected? A year later Youngkin got 50.6% of the vote in a state that Trump only got 44%. Trump is less popular than any garden variety republican!

A reasonable conservative and businessman who does not say outrageous or insulting things. Well educated and qualified. Able to communicate clearly. Did not insult Trump or those never Trumpers.

Youngkin and Sears were the first republicans to win statewide elections in Virginia since 2009.

 

Again. Youngkin didn't win Virginia because he's moderate and polite. He won because the democratic idiot McAuliffe claimed parents should take a back seat to schools in raising their children. THAT'S why he won. This may come as a shock to you, but democratic policies have gotten so incredibly divisive and are proving to be so incredibly bad both socially and economically that you could put anyone on the ballot who's sane enough to understand simple concepts like parents not wanting their children to be taught stupid **** like CRT or sexuality at young ages and they are going to win.

There is a huge snap back to center coming for the democrats which is great because it's sorely needed.

If democrats don't find a way to dig up a centrist/moderate who's brave enough to clap back on the more ridiculous "woke" policies brought on by the DNC, they are ****ed.

 

If you ask anyone who the republican party is, they will answer Donald Trump. That's the reality we live in. That label was given by the democrats as a means to vilify anyone conservative and label them "racist". As such, if Latino's are now moving to the right of the isle...they do so knowing full well that membership right now comes with a MAGA hat.

I believe in anyone being able to have an opinion on most subjects. I think we should always be vigilant to seek the truth.
