About the Buffalo shooter according to his manifesto.

1. Political Compass identifies him as center left authoritarian who began as a communist.

2. He isn't a fan boy of any media including Fox because they have too many Jews working for them.

3. He hates black people although he doesn't complain about their being too man black people working for the Media.

4. He did this because he expected more gun laws to come of it.

5. He did it where he did because New York's strict gun laws would make resistance much more difficult.

So no the ass clown isn't a right wing extremist. Just a typical messed up kid and a typical victim of what passes for public education these days. Does that make him less culpable for what he did, no.

What it does mean is that the alphabet soup media's attempt to paint as a far right extremist is as per usual completely bogus

 

I said it before and will again. An 18 year kid with clear psychopathy writing a 180 page very detailed manifesto about white birth rates and guns seems highly questionable.

 

Given that the thing is so obviously the rantings of a deranged psycho, a fact that every one associated with him already knew. The thing is disjointed, illogical, and much of it mutually contradictory.

The narrative fell apart on the first day. All anyone needed to do was read the manifesto... Of course, folks just can't wait to paint all white people this way. Started with the Rolling Stones article, and snowballed from there. It's time to start holding these folks responsible for the damage to the nation they are causing.

 

Why would any of that be necessary? We have the writings in the perps own words expressing his own ideological identification, and seems pretty left wing to me. Do you have any evidence you'd like to put forward that disputes that?

Really? That's just not true, It may be your take, but it's just not true. And, in any case, such a law would have to be passed by bipartisan cooperation. And it would certainly have parameters built in that would preclude any attempt to do what you're suggesting.

 

While having a mental competency standard sounds like a good idea on the surface, in reality, it is 100% unworkable.

-HIPAA laws preclude a doctor from sharing personal medical information.

-If somehow we overturned HIPAA protections and made it so doctors could share personal medical information, the last thing that we would want is to disincentivize the mentally ill from seeking help by creating a real fear that seeking that help will result in the forfeiture of their 2nd amendment rights.

- If you were to try to have a required anonymous psychiatrist visit and their subsequent approval prior to being allowed to have a gun, people can very easily fool a psychiatrist. Psychiatrists only know what a person tells them, and if they do not tell them about hearing voices etc., the doctor has no way of actually knowing. They might be able to spot someone trying to hide their illness that at that very moment is a raving lunatic, but crazy people are almost never always a raving lunatic. Those tend to be sporadic periods, and all they would have to do is go get a gun at a moment when they are not a raving lunatic.
