He's also the product of a society that allows too many influences to confuse the lines between right and wrong, responsibility and irresponsibility- and fails to makes rules consistent and reliable.
Like characterizing Waukesha as an SUV that killed a bunch of people while Buffalo is the scourge of white supremacy across America.
So, you have to write about "politics" in order to be a political extremist? Basic tenets of far-right/alt-right political extremism include the idealogy of white supremacy, extreme nationalism, racism, homophobia, islamophobia, Christian identity, anti-Semitism, political misinformation, and/or conspiracy theories. It is not just one of these, but several of these that will identify alt-right/far-right political extremism. Yes, there are people out there with extremist views. This guy, in particular, was one of them just like Timothy McVeigh, Dylan Roof, etc. https://www.gale.com/c/political-extremism-and-radicalism-far-right-groups-in-america
Hatred of Jews is a principle concept among white supremacists. White supremacists hate Catholics, Jews, any person who IS NOT WHITE, etc. However, to be considered far-right/alt-right one has to hold more than just racist viewpoints. In another post in this thread I gave what those basic tenants are and stated that it is not one, but more than one, like a few, to be considered alt-right. In the manifesto that he wrote, he was all over the place and he exposed viewpoints that ranged from racism to extreme nationalism. He specifically mentions that the "white race" was dwindling, a common theme among white nationalists. He hated Fox News, not because they were on the left, but because he believed Rupert Murdoch was a Jew and that Fox had several Jewish employees. He also did this with CNN and NY Times.
Chaos in society, confusion about what is right/wrong/works/fair- always leads to anger and resentment and eventually- violence. When leadership ignores value and rules, those things lose the power to regulate anyone- and some will throw the equivalent of tantrums, striking out at whomever or whatever they choose to blame it on. If we don't restore rational, accountable leadership, it will only get worse.
Twitter thread with videos of Democrats extolling the virtues of the replacement theory. Ian McKelvey on Twitter: "Right wingers didn’t invent “replacement theory.” What is it? It’s a strategy devised by the Democratic Party that hinges upon opening the immigration flood gates, thereby allowing *likely* Democratic voters to enter the United States. In their own words: https://t.co/vEv5TJmuk2" / Twitter
I think that there are those out there that will never accept any source as a means of avoiding the topic, and thus its a game of cat and mouse. Since I can't find the actual manifesto anywhere, it would appear the news agencies have exclusive rights to it at this point.
"When I was 12 I was deep into communist ideology, talk to anyone from my old highschool [sic] and ask about me and you will hear that.” "From age 15 to 18 however, I consistently moved farther to the right. On the political compass I fall in the mild-moderate authoritarian left category, and I would prefer to be called a populist." " I would prefer to call myself a populist. But you can call me an ethno-nationalist eco-fascist national socialist if you want, I wouldn’t disagree with you."
