The academic work of Stanfort University simply is a good source.
While you got absolutely nothing to rebuke it.

    It doesn't prove anything.

You would probably accept anything as proof because you want to believe it.

    It still doesn't prove anything.
But it eats at you. If it really didn't matter you wouldn't be insisting on yours for weeks.

I presume the lack of affirmation is the surface of a bit of angst

I still have responded to this in post 573.

It eats you that I'm mocking that your opinion doesn't trump the results of academic research.

Think you know what you think it means? No idea you don't seem to be using it properly.

You're going off topic, while it remains so I proved my point by linking my source.

Happily, this is the most recent post in PF.com about these 2 twerps...... But I ran into this story today that had me snort....

Get the freaking GALL of these MAGA morons.... wasting Missouri time and Missouri money on this BS

    SNIP
The court earlier this year placed the law licenses of McCloskey and his wife, Patricia McCloskey, also an attorney, under probation after they pleaded guilty to misdemeanor crimes in a highly publicized gun-waving incident during a police brutality protest in June 2020.

Under the probation, the St. Louis lawyers are required to give 100 hours of pro bono legal services to organizations that help “poor or indigent Missouri residents.”
    ENDSNIP

You ready for the organization they requested, which has been turned down by everybody, including the State Supreme Court on Wednesday???

    Project Veritas...

    Two points.

    "nonviolent protesters"

Bullshit. Peaceful does not do this:

If they were pardoned then why is the court further punishing them with forcing them to do pro-bono work?

    Me first

Why would a clearly non-compliant request even be allowed to go to the Missouri Supreme Court??

That's part of what I am asking. Why are the courts continuing to punish McClouskey even after they were pardoned? If I knew the answer to your question I'd have the answer to mine.

    Here ya go...

    https://www.kcur.org/news/2021-09-2...testers-face-suspension-of-their-law-licenses

    https://www.courts.mo.gov/page.jsp?id=217

The pardon stops criminal prosecution, not punishment from their chosen profession...

The point is that these people don't seem to be challenging the sentence, but clearly don't seem serious about meeting the requirements...

They must really want their licenses revoked instead of this compromise...

A pardon also stops the punishment. Hence why the McCloskey's no longer have to serve jail time or pay any of the fines. This to me is seeking extra punishment for a crime from which they were pardoned. Indeed what they did didn't even involve anything having to do with them being lawyers or how they acted in a court of law or anything related. So why are they targeting their law licenses?

Never mind.... All of your questions are completely answered in the combo of 2 links I provided that you didn't read.

I might find somebody later who understands the situation without a hand hold....

If you act like a big enough *******, whether or not you have criminal or civil charges hit, the state bar can still **** with you.

In this case the state bar isn't the ones to decide if they can **** with you. The state courts do. The state bar has to ask the courts, then the courts decide.
