If the stolen funds show up at the chairman’s house … probably.
Are you suggesting that employees took classified information to Mar-a-Lago without trump’s knowledge? Without his instruction to do so?

It is not a question of possession. The "classified information was received to her by an unsecured email server and she forwarded that information through said email server.

In light of it all, there are too ironies here. For starters, that DJT will do almost the exact same thing that he hammered HRC on in the 2016 Presidential Election. AND, that DJT is acting more like HRC whne faced with questions about the classified documents that he actually possessed in his Mar A Largo home. It is two peas in the same pod here.

And yet, Trump and the GOP had 4 years, 4 years, in which to bring charges. What was the result? Not a peep. Not a hint. Not even a small roar by the DOJ. The DOJ had Sessions who would have probably wanted something like this. Then an acting, Whitaker, then Barr was appointed. All of whom were very critical of HRC and none did anything to investigate.

Now, you might want to ask yourself why no investigation into HRC email scandal.

Trump was always more popular with Republicans than Biden is with Democrats.

Do you really think Trump personally oversaw the packing up of his office? Be serious. Trump is too busy golfing to do such menial tasks.

Should not this thread be in law and Justice rather than current events? That is the more appropriate forum for this matters discussion.

You are assuming Trump has classified information in his possession.

There is no weaponizing of the Federal government or the DOJ. That is just a lame brain excuse similar to "my dog ate my homework."

Yeah.... and just wait till the crooked judge with the crooked jury condemns the innocent cherub, Saint Donald, to crooked prison where he will be handed a particularly slippery bar of soap by the crooked warden.

    It's a world-wide conspiracy, I'm tellin' ya!

    No assumption

From the link, it says, "The National Archives and Records Administration found “classified national security information” among the 15 boxes of White House records that had been stored at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club, the agency confirmed Friday, leading the National Archives to contact the Department of Justice and intensifying concerns that Trump mishandled official documents after leaving office."

What I highlighted in bold is what the National Archives said. Are they being weaponized too? Or will you come up with another excuse from the Hannity crowd who really don't care about this country, just themselves and their efforts of absolute political power.

Again, no one has been able to link Joe as having willingly been the “big guy”.

Remember individual one? Also not linked

How has Joe not been linked directly with the current batch of Republican led investigations into Hunter?

The FBI has always been "weaponized" for the use of our corrupt bipartisan ruling political class.
What still passes for the "Left" these days used to know that. Now they pretend they to know nothing. ;-)

“In addition, intelligence routinely resorts to lying, deception, plausible denial, and related arts to escape detection, or, on higher levels, responsibility. Hoover's right-hand man, Cartha DeLoach, thus falsely assured Attorney General Nicholas de B. Katzenbach that the bureau tapes of Martin Luther King, wiretaps which he had offered to play for a Newsweek reporter, were made by a Georgia police unit and not by the FBI. Director Hoover frustrated Attorney General Francis Biddle’s order in 1943 to terminate a detention list merely by changing its name. Richard Helms lied to a Senate committee about CIA involvement in the “de-stabilizing” the Allende regime in Chile as well as its role in attacking domestic dissidents. Director Hoover regularly understated in Congressional testimony the number of electronic surveillances maintained during the previous year by excluding figures relating to microphone surveillances and by shutting down some of the wiretap installations on the eve of his testimony, only to resume them later."
THE AGE OF SURVEILLANCE, The Aims and Methods of America's Political intelligence System, Frank J. Donner, Alfred A. Knopf, Inc., New York, 1980, p. 24,25.

There are those on record stating Joe Biden is the "Big Guy". He's referred to as such on separate emails found on Hunter's laptop.

You mean like criminalizing people who have abortions, miscarriages, or the phyisicians who perform those services no matter the reason why? You mean like that kind of laws? Care to guess which political party is attempting that? I will give you a hint. It starts with a R and not a D.

Oh I hope they destroy him. I’ll be the first to admit it
That said if the FBI did this without cause it will only garner sympathy for him — if it is legitimate such as theft of secure documents or other items I will enjoy every moment of it.

Did he put the papers on boxes himself? Probably not.
Did he instruct his minions what to take? Almost certainly. How would they know, otherwise.

Even if they did it with rock-solid cause, he will still use it to garner sympathy.

I think perhaps you have little knowledge of how the "justice" system works. It's not the existence of the law that counts- it's the methods and choices of prosecution.
Given the latitude to pick and chose who you will prosecute, it quickly becomes a weapon of persecution- you charge transgressions by your enemies, ignore those by your friends.

As the old saying goes, there's more than one way to skin a cat. Unequal justice provides excellent tools for that. Al Capone, one of the most prolific mobsters in the prohibition era, escaped all attempts to convict him for the murders and various crimes he was clearly behind- so they turned to tax laws, and imprisoned him on that basis.

There are people in federal prison for importing lobsters in plastic containers instead of wooden boxes. WHY would such a thing result in a prison sentence? There is no American law against that, however there is a law that says a person can be prosecuted under the laws of another country... And in this case, the source of those lobsters came from a nation that passed it to protect their lumber industry. They had long since stopped enforcing the law, but it was on the books- and that created the "gotcha' tool a prosecutor couldn't find in other ways.

The complexity of law in the USA exceeds that of any other nation, to the point that most active Americans are unknowingly violating several laws a day- meaning that anytime a prosecutor with the power to do so wants to do so, you could be charged. A man who they thought might be a suspect in the BTK murders was jailed for several days... because his grass wasn't mowed. Injustice happens when the honor and integrity of people in power is absent, and the frequency of that is rapidly increasing. Are you keeping a lawyer by your side to insure your legal compliance with everything? Of course you are.

Not much difference between being a "martyr" or a "saint". So if his cult is going to consider him any sort of deity, better if it's one that's in prison.

This shows that today's FBI is likely even more political than J. Edgar's FBI.
