Something tells me you did not watch the full hearing.....

Because she mentioned both those things.

Naming a Wall Street implant to be in charge of the army? Having Rex Tillerson, who's cozied up to Russians in their interests, as SOS. John Kerry looks like the best thing that's ever happened compared to Tillerson.

No, I can't find it anywhere. In the hearings, I found nothing about open carry in school (although I'm sure she does not oppose police being armed while in a public school). She supports the appropriate people being armed, she supports Trumps plan on banning "gun free" zones, but that's a far cry from rampant open carry in elementary schools.

If you have proof of your claim, I'd like to see it.

Is she an education activist and did serve as chairwoman of the board of Alliance for School Choice?

You're being hypocritical. We're leaving an era of totalitarian government --- that didn't "let a good crisis go to waste", characterized by warrantless surveillance, targeting of ideological opponents by the IRS and DOJ. It's an era that grew government to an extent that 6 of the 10 wealthiest counties in the country surround the capital --- just like the Russian oligarchy. Seems we're leaving a period of shame and entering a brave new world of government limited to the powers enumerated in our founding documents. How refreshing!!!

And no, I don't think it should be up to the states to decide.

If you wanted refreshing, you should not have run and voted for such a disgrace to America, that now every real American has to apologize for. The time to be shameful to call oneself a American has not begun to leave us but dawn on us instead.

Your link does not show that DeVos wants open carry in schools.

It shows she wants "gun free" zones removed. That's not open carry.

It mentions her citing Sen. Enzi's example of a school in Wyoming needing a firearm on the premises to protect against bear attack. That's no open carry.

Do you care to try again?

I was getting those two confused. Sorry about that. Her example of fending off a bear was quite honestly, a poor one.

Overall, if this were a job interview (which it should be), once she left, her resume would serve as basketball practice She failed to answer questions with substance, its quite obvious the experience necessary isn't there, otherwise she would not have put on such a poor performance.

Caught this on YouTube in the UK.
    Oh my God!!
Watching this clinical dissection of the flesh and the picking over of her bones was akin to a horror movie. By the end I was actually feeling sorry for her.
What she knows of education could be written on a cigarette paper with room to spare
Almost as good were the Trump supporters frantically scratching around for a defence when there is none and desperately trying to change the subject.

The example of fending off a bear was first mentioned in the hearings by Sen Enzi of Wyoming, it was a real world example. DeVos simply repeated it. It makes a difference when you know all the facts instead of just regurgitating your "progressive" propaganda media reports.

From what I have seen of the hearings, and I have seen quite a bit of it, DeVos is a fantastic pick. She did not bow to the idiot progs. She will do well.

Don’t tell me you’re incapable of recognising a car crash when you see one, you simple can’t defend the indefensible. Wasn’t this the same female who invested money to turn Gays into Heterosexuals? Says it all Bruv.

You mean when the government was actively funding for the desegregation of schools? Or were you talking about results, even though separate but equal was inherently unequal it was somehow better?

Yes this is what they want. They want to see our education system collapse. They hate America they hate children. They hate poor people they hate people with dark skin. Only when the discover their own children are effected will it matter. These people live in a bubble. They don't realize they are swimming in the same pool that the drump is now using for a toilet.

I doubt that very much. Most people want what's best for their children. Here it's not clear that DeVos is the best candidate to be doing that.

Yes of course. When else would I be talking about? (Information for next time, I'm not a democrat, I really don't care about them.)
