Betsy DeVos

Could you tell me what Obama's pick Arne Duncan did? He was Superintendent of Chicago schools. That should have disqualified him from the get-go. Face it, Obama did NOTHING to improve schools for the poor because he was so trying to get the approval of the corrupt teachers' unions! I am against unions. They had their day, but now they are greedy and power hungry and profitable. Now on to Arne's accomplishments...

 

He has made a great start------Obama and Hills are gone, aren't they? Rome wasn't built in a day....

 

Obama had 8 years to improve education and surprise, surprise, he failed miserably. How many of you are armchair quarterbacks and how many of you are actually teachers? If you aren't a teacher, you are clueless.

 

Let me tell you why the Left is afraid of Betsy DeVos. Maybe some of the minions don't even know because they are just echoing what their handlers tell them.
The Left is all about victimhood. They have pigeonholed various groups such as Blacks, Hispanics, illegals, LGBTQ, Muslims, women and the poor and have told them that they are losers who aren't capable of helping themselves and so they need The "caring" and "generous" Libs to step in and save them using taxpayer money of course. They are "taken care of" in return for their VOTE.
But if you don't believe them and you get an education, work hard and achieve, you are told that ".you didn't build that."
Betsy DeVos wants to get rid of the powerful Teachers' unions that have been holding the kids hostage, so that THEY can get richer. The teachers' unions have severely hampered the learning of the students they vow to help. Our public schools are failing especially those in the inner cities controlled by Democrats (surprise). Betsy DeVos wants to give those children a chance for success and a better life by using vouchers. Rich neighborhoods have good schools. How do you stop the cycle poverty when these kids are stuck in bad schools when teachers are being paid $100,000 or more to do NOTHING? This is what the Democrats are all about----nothing more, but a whole lot less....it is disgusting. Betsy DeVos will be the Secretary of Education...
