The term has already become synonymous with rampant inflation. Democrats love to tell us how great the economy's doing but yet every day the price of things keep going up.
"Bidenomics" is a toxic political term. For most of us, it means "You're screwed." From the political slogan perspective, it's as dead as the term "trickle down economics" for a Republican candidate.
It is pretty clear that MAGA hopes that voters are too ill-informed on economics to realize that: 1) Inflation was a worldwide phenomenon. 2) Supply chain issues contributed significantly to higher prices. 3) Inflation has a 1 to 1 1/2 year lag after monetary policy changes. 4) The Fed brought inflation back down to the 3% range by raising interest rates, without interference from Biden. MAGA is probably right on ill-informed voters they are counting on. And they are likely going to bring Trump back to the WH, for another round of tax cuts on the national credit card and another explosion of the deficit. He calls himself the king of debt for a reason.
If you really want to understand what Biden is being advised to do........ I think that Jim Rickards does a good job of psychological profiling Biden's Advisors and teleprompter writers..... http://www.politicalforum.com/index...y-does-this-scare-you.604753/#post-1073792268
"but mommy all the other kids are doing it? Since 60-65% of world commerce is denominated in US dollars what happens in the US effects the world economy Inflation is a monetary phenomenon And Biden's been in office for 3 1/2. THE RATE OF GROWTH of inflation has slowed - Biden era inflation is near 17% MAGA, MAGA, MAGA - do ever use facts and reality?
The below is NOT from Fox or the NY Post. WASHINGTON — No one seems to like “Bidenomics,” the eponymous shorthand for Joe Biden’s economic policies — not voters, not Democratic officials, not even, at times, the president himself. It’s a term that mystifies Americans and confounds even its namesake. “I don’t know what the hell that is,” Biden said in a speech in Philadelphia earlier this year. .......................... Appearing in Minnesota last week, Biden described Bidenomics as “the American Dream” — twice in the same speech. .......................... “Whoever came up with the slogan Bidenomics should be fired,” said one Democratic strategist, who requested anonymity to speak more freely. “It’s probably the worst messaging you could ever imagine.” https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/bidenomics-rcna122865
Ahhh. The typical left wing way of assigning blame and cause in any format that isn't their failed policies. Crappy progressive policies are NEVER the issue. It's always that they are just a victim to outside influences. And they say all this while the facts are staring them in the face.
Hey, where did I say that Biden had nothing to do with inflation? I didn't. I am just debunking the tired MAGA claim that inflation is 100% Biden's fault and nobody else's. The truth is that Biden and Trump spent about the same amount in COVID stimulus. So far, no Trump supporter has ever been able to explain to me why Biden's stimulus was inflationary, but Trump's wasn't.
Trump did one round of stimulus and that was it. The end. Biden did twice that with stimulus payments two and three. Plus extra unemployment benefits for the duration of the COVID-19 epidemic shutdown. Also, there was extended Medicaid coverage and no one was kicked off of it for the duration of the pandemic, I think they didn't even start to check eligibility requirements until either this year (2024) or last (2023), and Medicaid coverage even applied to people in red states that didn't expand their state's Medicaid program to fit Obamacare guidelines.
Tyson Foods Warns Low-Income Consumers Are Cracking Under Inflation Storm Of Bidenomics "And in retail, we're seeing roughly 20% cumulative inflation over the last three years." That's a LOT of inflation. Food prices advanced more under FJB than that they did from the end of the Bush, Obama, and Trump Administrations, combined. 'This ominous warning comes one week after McDonald's and Starbucks warned that low-income consumers are starting to crack.' No wonder more and more folks miss the Trump Administration Bribed Joe's approval in this poll was just 44%
Um....no, the checks kept coming bearing his name, and when 2020 was over he had burned $6 trillion for nothing. When Biden signed the 2021 stimulus, Trump said he would have doubled it if he was still president. But it wasn't just the US, the whole world did the same, which is why inflation if world wide, and US is actually recovering faster than the rest.
you have to wonder why the Republican run FED is trying to hard to hurt the Biden economy with higher interest rates, prevent wages from going up the reality is, Covid caused prices to go up, they are never going back down, time for wages to rise
Sure-sure https://www.self.inc/blog/us-national-debt-under-biden Pretty good, fair assessment up to this year anyway..
Just like “Obamacare”. GOP tried to replace it for 10 years. But Obamacare is alive and more popular then ever.
American politics shifted since the day Clinton uttered those word “it’s the economy stupid”. I hear Political Pundit on both side of the political spectrum talk about how voter care about their own pocket, voter care about kitchen table issue, voter care about their economy etc. But in reality in past six election not a single one was about economy. 2000 – W Bush ran on bringing integrity in White House. It was about social issue. 2004 – W Bush ran on national security. As a matter of fact , US was in mild recession. 2008 – Obam ran on ending the war in Iraq ( national security) and bringing integrity ( Bush lied about war). 2012-Obama ran on “ we are making progress”. Unemployment was over 8% on election day and American people re-elected Obama. 2016 – economy was great, but Trump ran against anti-establishment. 2020 – Biden ran on “ bring decency in American politics”. Gop will talk about economy and pocket book issue. Gop will talk about inflation and gas price. Some liberal political pundit will say “ DEMS are going down because American care about kitchen table issue ( these idiots needs to retire)”, some DEMS will tell Biden to talk about economy more and more. But at the end of the day the election will be decided on democracy, woman right to choose, and Trump. My biggest concern in this election is not issue like economy or inflation but these pro-Palestinian voters if they would rather stay home then vote for Biden. they wouldn’t vote for Trump but they might stay home. MI is gone. There is nothing Biden can do to win back Arab-Muslims, but the collage students in Madison, Atlanta , and Phoenix , will they stay home or vote will decide the election.
Nah, nobody said that. But you did 100% find reasons other than Biden that was responsible. If you really did blame Biden in any capacity, you would have said it. And the major difference being that the vaccine was released just before Biden took the reins. So.... why did he have to spend as much? And also, stimulus is not the only economic factor that impacts inflation. Biden supports policies like free college tuition and hands out free money like a sailor at a whore house all that continue to increase inflation rates. So far, no Trump supporter has ever been able to explain to me why Biden's stimulus was inflationary, but Trump's wasn't.[/QUOTE] They were both inflationary. That's a loaded question. The real question was, were both necessary and for the extent of time supported by then presidents?
Actually there was never a Bidenomics. Government doesn't use planning in its spending. It just spends. It's good for government but not so good for us.
FJB Lies About Everything: Biden Claims Inflation Was 9% When He Took Office-–It Was 1.4% Inflation has climbed 18.9% in the first 3 years that FJB has been President. Inflation only grew 5.6% in the last 3 years of Trump.
