It's their illusion not mine. Sure there are a few haters out there but who cares. I'm just saying that I don't really think it's about white supremacy for them. If anything, categorizing them that way only supports their illusion in the belief that the left wants to vilify all white people as racists.

People of all walks suffer this illusion of some kind of injustice when it comes to identity. Identity politics is toxic no matter the skin color or whatever they use to categorize themselves with. It causes division based on arbitrary distinctions like skin color when we should be unified on values and ideas.

He's denounced supremacists dating back as far as 2014. He could've answered this a lot more confrontationally:

"That's interesting Chris, I've denounced white supremacists for the last 6 years now and it doesn't seem to be doing any good largely because you keep asking about it so let's play a game: Can you demonstrate or cite where I've spoken to or for White Supremacists?"

Where was Biden on the condominium of BLM/Antifa?

Moderated by a mainstream news anchor. Try to keep up here. Wallace works for Fox news and is not shy about his anti Trump stance.

Lol. Blame blame blame. Excuses excuses.

Trump agreed to the rules and the moderators. Blame him. For once.

I think so too, and it worked, since Biden at one moment called Trump a clown before thinking and then a second afterward you can see him mentally do his whole "whoops, maybe I shouldn't've actually said that out loud on the debate stage" thing... It also interrupts his talking points since Joe is not very personable or good at extemporaneous speaking.

He can't flat out denounce something unless it is specific and clearly defined, such as Antifa is a specific organization, as is BLM... "White supremacy" is more or less just a meaningless buzzword that leftists use, and they have no specific examples of it to offer up to talk about... BTW, Joe blew it on calling Antifa an "idea" rather than an organization...

You all must have forgotten who you true supporters are? Richard Spencer and Biden have allot in common with their hatred of minorities. With Biden and Kamala in office, he also knows how many minorities they will put into jail. Those 2 are experts.

He answered direct questions just fine, such as the tax question for example.

Slow Joe, on the other hand, purposely avoided the specific questions about the SCOTUS list as well as whether or not he'd expand and pack the court. Joe also avoided Trump's request to list just ONE single police organization that has endorsed him... That's not a good look for Joe...

I wonder if Leprechauns have social media presence?

    SNIP
On the Proud Boys' account on the social media app Telegram, the group appeared to take the statement as marching orders.

"Standing down and standing by sir," the account wrote. The account then posted two videos of the answer, including one with the caption "God. Family. Brotherhood," in which a man howled at the TV in response to Trump's response.

WTF "Telegram" is... I guess that's where you go when the real Social Media bans your racists asses...

I don't watch debates, but I agree with that opinion. The wise don't put weight on the words of politicians.

And then Wallace promptly declared the topic closed, it was by design. Dont give him much time, interrupt what little you did then declare, "Trump refuses to denounce White supremacy"

A child could see it, just not those with confirmation bias.

Yes all the time. It is the go to now days. The left consistently push the narrative that Trump and his supporters are racist white supremacists. I live in constant fear of losing my job and lively hood and I have a black grandchild. Its disgusting the bs narrative that is used to divide us. I now have to take training at work to teach me how to not be racist against black people. We have a racist hate group called BLM that is taking over the democratic party. You F^&*#^$ right I feel discriminated against.

Here's a better/funnier description of how Trump ****ed up

    SNIP
"Donald Trump blew the biggest layup in the history of debates by not condemning white supremacists," Kilmeade said. "I don't know if he didn't hear it, but he's got to clarify that right away. That's like, 'Are you against evil?'"
    ENDSNIP

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/fox-news-brian-kilmeade-says-115826552.html

Is Kilmeade sure a "layup" reference is appropriate for a president of this girth??

And to answer your question, BK?

    No....

I commend you for a consistent ability to ignore the point.
For the record trump isn’t a nazi, but you won’t know if one comes along if you don’t listen to what politicians say

And, that's part of the problem. A problem isn't fictitious just because it does not impact your (global "your" as in "most Americans") life. For instance, I've never had measles but I can accept it exists and some people are negatively impacted by it. I would have no right to say "Oh, get over it. It's not *that* bad" because I've never had the same experience.

Cannot disagree with that, but I found last night watching my wife and son watch the debate a LOT more interesting than simply watching the debate...

My wife was stopping just short of throwing stuff at our big screen (HD is NOT a good feature with 2 old men) and my son was just snickering the whole time, at what I'm not 100% sure.

If nothing else, we've taught our youth that politics really sucks... Hopefully, some quiet Biden years will create some faith in the system...

    Ha! 2 questions:

    1. Did you learn anything about either that you didn't already know?
    2. Are you, your wife, and child better off as a result of watching?

No x2... We have all already voted, but felt it was a TV event we should watch as Americans... Violated my personal No-Trump-on-TV rule as well... 21 months before last night..

Won't happen again... However, we will watch Kamala next week... my wife likes her....
