You're off by about a decade. Had the Dems been so upset by what Clinton did, Trump would never have happened. Instead, the mantra back then was that the economy is great so let him keep doing his job. Sound familiar?

I knew what was happening then would boomerang back eventually, and that some kind of Trump-like figure was inevitable after the Dems decided defending Bill was more important than standing up for some kind of morality. And, the press went out of their way to tell the country that. Guess what? The press did it's job too well and now here we are. Why aren't the attacks on Trump gaining anywhere near as much traction as they should? Because the press conditioned the public into believing that this kind of behavior is okay.

I actually agree with this a little but i don't agree with the concept of role models too much at least not human role models because humans kinda suck at doing the right thing. I actually think Donald Trump is very representative of the American people at this point in time.

Many successful businesses have filed bankruptcy! He never filed PERSONAL bankruptcy but 4 businesses which were casinos in Atlantic City. Trump’s four bankruptcies were Chapter 11 reorganizations, which are designed to restructure businesses without shutting them down completely. The purpose is to "save" the business, as opposed to other forms of bankruptcy which would liquidate the company. Chapter 11 is not always due to bad business decisions.
