    There's a quote about this same exact thing. How the society is going to hell in a handbasket and it's all caused by the lack of dat ol time religion and everybody's loose morals.

    The problem is it was buried in an Egyptian tomb next to the Tablets of Narmer. It's possibly the oldest piece of writing there is.

    Funny how old people start to become moral at about the same time their bodies just can't take any more immorality. "My teeth are bad and I've got diabetes, everyone should go Vegan"

    Religious note. The "God of Abraham" is the same God in Jewish, Christian, and Islamic religious beliefs. All three religions worship the identical God.

    To be truthful, liberals (down deep) actually DO wish for a moral cleansing because they know they need it. The only time that sentiment actually gets to the conscious mind of a liberal and gets expressed, is as a joke, as you've done here.

    What liberals REALLY need to learn is that they are not bad people. Because down deep they REALLY believe they are, as in sentence number one.

    Rome did endure more than 1000 years, i think that's enough... every great civilization falls in the end. What eroded Rome's power was internal corruption and relying too much on mercenary troops, the empire was just too big. What is eroding america isn' corruption nor mercenaries, it's the greedy capitalism which, after bringing so much wealth now is showing it's weaknesses. Democrats are trying to save the nation from social collapse, not vice versa.
