    Opium, cocaine, cannabis, they're all derivative of plants which cost practically nothing to grow. If you can walk down the shop and get a week's worth of heroin for 10 bucks there's not much incentive for violent drug cartels to smuggle it across the border.

    Prohibition is in effect a subsidy to drug dealers, from users, enforced by the state.

    didn't Republicans vote for Roy Moore and defend him with bible quotes saying Joseph and Mary did it... the right is the ones always bringing that up, not the left

    the left believe two consenting adults should be able to have sex if they want, it's not yours or my business, and definitely not the governments

    totally agree, the war on drugs creates crime, and funds gangs and terrorists

    addiction is a problem regardless if it's legal or not, we need to find a way to address the addiction

    some get addicted and some don't, we need to find out why, study it
