Still reading the LIB MSM that screwed you over? Diid you scrutinize Obama like this when he was in the transition period? My guess is that MSM didn't let you because he was the messiah. His picks were disastrous. Just look at Clinton, Sibelius and Holder for starters. Veteran Affairs scandal, IRS scandal...total Screw-ups...Before you start ragging on Republicans, you had better make sure that it can't be thrown back in your face...he hasn't even been sworn in yet...

This is a REALLY bad article. I was hoping for something .... substantial, but really there is nothing. I think I found two items that could be regarded as a "flip-flop", and even then they do not present it well at all; no context, just snippets.

I was gonna pick a few, but it was too easy to do them all:

    "On his predecessor:"
Every candidate does this. Hillary did this, Obama did this. Campaign vitriol is common. But even so, the before and after statement don't particularly contradict. It's not particularly a "flip-flop" either.

    "On anti-Trump protesters"
    This isn't a campaign flip-flop.

    "On Obamacare:"
Having 100% dislike of everything in a broad spectrum would be difficult. The main aspects of Obamacare, what really defines it, look to still be out?

    "On the border wall:"
More wall than fence wouldn't make it all a fence. He;s made some concessions that a wall isn't practical in some areas. Whether or not he builds a wall at all remains to be seen.

    "On gay marriage:"
Changing things [in future rulings] doesn't mean changing existing rulings.

    "On locking her up:"
Not wanting hurt someone doesn't mean you don't need to follow through on something. But aside from that, appointing a prosecuctor doesn't mean they will find anything to prosecute with.

    "On deporting illegal immigrants:"
It's two different things. He wants all illegal immigrants out, but he's going to start with those with other criminal records [drugs etc]. I don't see any contradiction here.

    "On the generals:"
It can be possible for the generals not to be doing a good job under the constraints of Obama/Clinton. That doesn't mean they are not great generals.

    "On nuclear Japan:"
That's a real disconnect. Talking about Japan, and talking about generally "more countries" is not the same.

    "On the Electoral College:"
All statements can be correct. It's a genius idea, but a disaster for democracy therefore he'd rather do PV.

    "On the Trump University lawsuit:"
The first real backtrack but nothing to do with his presidency really.

    "On man-made climate change:"
Again, a turn around here [and first related to being POTUS in my mind]. Not enough info to properly slate him.

    "On the Paris climate agreement:"
    Yup

    "On torture:"
So torture works, but won't make the kind of difference people think. Is there an issue with that?

    "On the New York Times:"
Can the NYT not be losing support [Trump stating a "fact"] whilst still being "respected" by Trump?

Have I got this right? The lefties were complaining about Don's promises before the election, and now they're complaining because they say he's not keeping them?
For example do they want him to get Hillary jailed or don't they?

Have I got this right? The righties voted Trump in based on what he promised before the election and now they're stumbling all over themselves to cover up his many LIES and FLIP FLOPS ....

    Here's ANOTHER FLIP FLOP

Kelley "The Jaw" Anne, Trump's spokesperson was on TV yesterday defending Trump's criticism of Castro .

Funny how to her the CUBAN refugees were brave desperate people fleeing an Evil Dictator with only $20 in their poor desperate pockets but what Brave Glorious People escaping a hellish life under The Evil Dictator....

But Mexicans ? ..Who cares, eh , KellyJawsAnne????.....:roflol:

My reading is that the people made him President mainly because they simply like him as a man and larger-than-life character, they know he's a natural-born winner, he's utterly fearless and has got a great sense of humour and terrific personality, it's a trait all successful businessmen have..:)

This is a guy who grew up in a gilded palace, trumpers think he understands the middle class. His grasp and understanding of issues is not relevant to those who put him in power.

I voted for Trump and am fine with all he has said after the election. What should I be most upset about ??

It is odd that there is so much distress among the left on Trump's taking a more moderate tone.

None so blind as those who choose not to see........

I take it any level of "character" is OK with you....no matter how low.

Good bye, I know arguing with worshippers is useless.

Haven't you seen that Saint Don has just ended 70 years of suspicion and mistrust between Russia and America?
So surely the fact that you and your family won't get toasted by nukes counts for something?..;)

So much for your reading comprehension skills: I said "your heroes" in the Republican party. I did not call you a Republican as calling anyone a member of that party would be a pejorative. ;)

You have some significant points but ... there's an overall tone of backing away from so much. Polibico is an agenda POS site for the most part. I can still find something there worth a read 3 times a week. This isn't their best work but it conveys the tenor of the moment.

    LOCK HER UP!

    or not

This is the one that angers me the most. Cunning stunt needs to be in jail.

Possibly it's a feint to keep Obama from pardoning her. I pray.

My reading is in my sig line. Next to zero intellect was involved in the nomination. Some anti-Hitlary desperation pushed him over the finish line despite his craptacular campaign.

On election night I was truly rooting against that witch and sort of against Trump knowing I was screwed either way.

anyone, ANYONE who starts a thread like this, or contributes to its validity by propping it up in any way has crossed a red line into the bowels of whiney crybaby desperation.
    Just stop.

Well, it could come to that, but clearly that is not a Trump goal and nor do I recall him ever saying it was. And yet you have brought it up on a discussion of Trump's "flip/flops"?

So can you support that this is a published goal of Trumps or is this simply your inference that this is a goal of his?

We can agree on that; he's surrounded himself with for the most part, incompetent buffoons and moronic, insipid, obtuse, angled clowns but as of now, they are not "yes" men. :)
