Sorry but do you actually think the scientists of the world are only a couple of people? Or that anyone who has a degree in a science related subject is somehow representative of the entire scientific community?

And why wouldn't they? A handful of wealthy nations foolishly agree to paying a lot of money to 165+ other nations without requiring those other nations to do anything. Why wouldn't those 165+ nations take free money from idiots?

 

So why would every developed country agree to give this money away? What is in it for them?

 

Not every developed country is giving away money, just a few. In the case of the USA, its driven by people who hate the USA, feel guilty that they are Americans, have been fooled into believing AGW, or make their living off of the AGW scam. And I'm sure some of the big supporters, like Tom Steyer, are making a fortune off their "concern for humanity".

This research is basically squashed with no public release after three years of investigative work. The oil and gas industry is providing more than 2 million jobs in the United States and is projected to increase that number to 5 million by 2025.

 

Is that what is in the Paris accord or only what is THOUGHT to be in it?

China will never compromise their economic development to reduce CO2 emissions. Their commitment (it hasn't happened yet BTW) is only made to lead the developed nations with "CO2 guilt" into further limiting their economic growth. China's investment is not to aid third world nations but to adversely affect the developed nations economies. And yes, they are making a fortune out of it.

 

China isn't giving away 3.1 billion dollars. They are investing in new coal plants in other nations. So is Japan and it has nothing to do with the Paris agreement.
