In 1997, the Arizona Wildcats won the national champeenship as a #7 seed. Along they way, they beat three (3) #1 seeds. Do you think that feat can ever be duplicated?
It's always a possibility, but things have to really fall in place. I believe Wichita St., as well as Michigan, Florida, FGCU, Syracuse, Marquette & Miami, still have a chance to duplicate the feat. But like I said, things really have to fall into place. I remember that year, really screaming for Arizona to win the Championship game. I really wouldn't have a problem with it happening again...in fact, I'd more than welcome it.
