You know, I may have to change my view. There is blood running in the streets, it's just becoming less the victims and more the bad actors.

You guys act surprised when a woman fires a gun to protect her family and her, and even more surprised when she hits her target. Do you think the pioneer women sat in their wagons putting on makeup while the men fought off the natives? Without the women marksmen the west might never have been won; and after the battles the women went right back to cooking, cleaning and child rearing. Not to sound all feminazi; but our rights aren't yours to give us. We earned them.

 

We're not surprised about it at all, we encourage it. Anyone who decides they want to hurt my wife and children while I'm not around are in for a very nasty surprise.

That don't figure on people carrying since many do not carry, stats in Oregon 1 in 16 People have a CCW, I think Washington is also 1 in 16 too.

 

that might be because she, like most of the gun banners I have dealt with, only pretend to be motivated by public safety. Most are not-its about banning guns to stick it to people they don't politically agree with. so when you attack their stated motivation (crime control or public safety) they don't respond because they don't really care about that issue anyway

I used to like converting Anti Gun Police Officers, the way I did that was to bring them to a Civilian range, and when the shooters treat them like a VIP, and everyone invites them to shoot, and they see how professional those shooters are, and hospitable, most change their mind and convert to being fully pro gun, I found only 1 LEO out of hundreds still remain Anti Gun as far as still wanting restrictive licenses and registration.

Doesn't seem that reasoning would of been effective in this situation. It was proportional and appropriate.
