I stand by what I said.

Your last sentence is something scientists agree on. The contribution of nature includes stuff like solar output, the temperature of space, and the tiny amount of residual heat escaping from far below earth's surface. We can't control that.

However, climatologists point out that the watts per square meter that is contributing to warming climate is far, far less than the watts per square meter of human causes.

I've posted charts showing that on this board several times.

So you are saying that we can prevent the natural cycle of cooling and warming the earth has gone through over the last millions of years?

yeah strange how he can read his own opinion into something when it doesn't even support that...I've seen it many times, they pick out the parts they think support their viewpoint and ignore the rest, or don't comprehend it...

We used mineral oil with mercurochrome mixed in it when we were kids. It didn't work very well.

I remember that there was an actual commercial sun tan lotion available, can't remember the name, but it cost dear coin. I don't know if it was any good either.

When we remember the industrial revolution, with thousands of factory chimneys pouring out toxic pollutants 24/7, the years of domestic coal fires using low-grade coal, things like Saddam setting the wells alight which poured thick black smoke into the sky for weeks on end, and lesser but still high-polluting disasters of more recent fire-stricken factories and warehouses, together with vehicle fuel fumes every day for the last 50 years, I wonder there's any ozone left at all, never mind a hole in it!
