guy not knowing what he was doing will cost Tx a million $. Why not shoot them several times each, when you have the chance? why not have adequately destructive and shocking loads? why risk having them sue you from a wheelchair, or having them get out in 15 years and come look you up?

Because those of us who are law abiding citizens that own fire arms for self defense use deadly force in the manner prescribed by law and don't consider what it saves tax payers. The purpose is to stop not kill.

they stop when they are dead. The law permitted him to shoot them, and he was too inept to put 2-3 rds each into their chests, before they could fall down. It takes 1/2 second or more to collapse. A hit every 1/4 second is quite easy to attain, if you are worth a hoot and have a pistol that's worth a hoot. Top men can get a repeat hit, at 10 yds in .14 second. So doing so at the sub 10 ft ranges normally seen and nearly twice as slow is not hard.

The message being presented is one of simple and utter nonsense.

what you mean is you are too lazy and cheap to develop that level of ability. It is not that hard. I can take anyone who'll really try to that level in 4 weekends. First weekend with Airsoft, second one with .22lr conversion unit, and the next weekend with 9mm wussy loads and the next Saturday with 9mm ball and the next day with 9mm hot loads. If you're as fast as you should be, doing this is easily justified in court, as having occurred in "hot blood". Taking 3-4 seconds to do it, as you'd need (obviously) instead of one second, yeah, THEN it's questionable.

I'd just as soon not spend any time with you with guns involved, or suggest that anyone else do so, because I understand the meaning of the word "accessory".

Are you addressing myself? Or are you instead directing your emotional outburst at someone else who is currently present? Lack of usage of the quote function makes it difficult to tell who is being spoken to in such a disrespectful and hostile manner, by someone who has already admitted to committing various federal offenses.

If it is not a difficult prospect, why do police officers lack such skill?

And what is your background, that makes you an expert in such?

You are prescribing toys as viable training aids?

A conversion unit for what? A handgun? A rifle? What are the specifics of what you are referring to?

Which is what precisely? What exactly is a so-called "wussy" loading for nine millimeter ammunition?

Ball refers to the type of projectile used, not the ballistic power of the round used. Ball does not tell anything about the powder charge that would be encountered. All it tells anyone is that the projectile being used is one with a full metal jacket and round nose.

    Which is what precisely?

Who makes the determination of just how fast someone should be when it comes to discharging a firearm in a defensive capacity?

And what precisely is your background expertise, that allows you to say with absolute certainty, that such a defense would be accepted in a court of law?

As long as the CHL guy is no billed, there is no danger of a civil suit in Texas. As long as the CHL guy wasn't committing a crime while shooting the bank robber, he has nothing to worry about.

If he had taken more shots and missed one, he would be responsible for that stray bullet. We have protection from being sued by the criminal, but not from being sued by bystanders.

.14? Really? The fastest action shooters in the country are putting one on the target from a draw in between .80 -.90
