It was a great game, but my husband is a Chiefs fan - it got pretty noisy here last night. If you're going to lose, that's the way to do it, though.
Redskins had a major wide receiver problem going into this week. Now they have a major 'not having a quarterback' problem. Injuries like that can lead to team morale going down the drain. The skins will likely spiral out of control. I'd be surprised if they didn't.
Oh yeah. Losing Smith to injury was a killer. As usual, the Cowboys are poised to rise again. Things seem to be pointing toward a possible first round matchup with Cam Newton.
I would take the cowbodys in that matchup. Cam has been banged up all season. If it came down to playoff life or death...the cowboys would send the house on every defensive play and I believe cam would get extremely frustrated. Not to mention, Garrett needs to keep his job so he will probably dial up a ton of pressure on cam if they played
Yes, fun game. Both day games yesterday were fun. The night game, though... massacre. Lol. It's been a fun season; best in a while.
Panthers lost to Seattle. Now Vikings are in line to play the Cowboys, and Panthers are on the outiside of the playoff hunt. Even if Skins fall back, Panthets still have to hop Seattle.
I would keep my eye on the cowboys moving forward. Yes they play the saints, but after that they have a really easy schedule. And they are starting to come together as a team. This could get interesting for them. Who knows though...they love crapping the bed when it matters.
I wonder how many people had the under thirty almost reminded me of Doomsday. I haven't seen a Dallas defense look that dominant against a good offensive football team in decades.
I've gotta say, the officiating this year has been pretty terrible. The host said they had something like a combined 140 years experience at the ref job. Perhaps it's time for them to retire.
The refs are paid to make bad calls. The commissioner is a retard and wants the games to be decided on penalties.
Yeah. Especially given the hype that the Saints Offense has been getting lately. It would be fun if things worked out and they met again in the playoffs.
Probably not going to happen unless the Rams dump a game they ought to win..That being said if Dallas can play defense like they did last night and can get Gregory to knock of the bone head plays they could wind up a very respectable11-5.
Of course, as it stands now--The Rams control their destiny as the #1 Seed, Cowboys sit #4. You could actualy have a 2nd Rd. Game with the Cowboys and Rams (winner gets the Saints). Just saying. If the Cowboy D is really tearing it up, what is to say they couldn't stop the Rams in the playoffs?
Not a damn thing. My point is the Saint's will have to win the wild card game and then likely beat the rams to get a shot against Dallas, and Dallas will have to beat Chicago.
The Saints and Rams get a 1st Rd. Bye. Based on current standings. The Bears and Dallas would play separate wild-card games. If the Bears and Dallas both with their respective WC games: Then, the seeding would be: 1) Rams 2) Saints 3) Bears 4) Cowboys. In that seeding scenario (as it sits NOW): The Divisional round would be 1 v 4 and 2 v 3. Thus, the Rams v Dallas and Saints v Bears. So, if all of the current seeding plays out, Dallas could get Rams in the 2nd Rd.
Go Bears! (secondary shout out to the Chiefs, my husband's team.) It's our first year since we got together over 10 years ago that a Bears/Chiefs SB is not entirely out of the question. Not saying it will, but there's never been a remote chance before, this far into the season.
