I stopped reading here. Biden’s supporters don’t have nearly as much enthusiasm as Obama’s supporters did.
Are you really sure? 45 million mail-in ballots have been sent so far. A total of 4,055,000 votes have been registered all parties combined. Republicans have returned 956,000 and Democrats.... 2,302,000. The rest are independents (768,000). Are you starting to feel the breeze?
He has never helped himself as a politician. He doesn't do politics. It has been wonderfully entertaining to read the reaction to that fact.
No. Ask any Republican if they’re going to vote. Their answer will be yes. Then ask them if they’re going to mail it in and their answer will be “not a chance”. Y’all better have a much bigger lead than a few million votes come Election Day.
I will go further and say that if you vote by mail that may be taken as one, at least at first, and that may be all Trump needs I hate to advise people to maybe get a fatal disease but it's not really me making it necessary, it's the bronze *******
Your problem isn't enthusiasm, it's numbers. For the first time in history, there are fewer Republicans than Independents in the country.
Yeah but that’s not because republicans lost all that ground. The republicans only dropped a half a percentage point whereas democrats dropped a full percentage point. Independents benefitted from both but moreso from democrats leaving their party.
I agree, Biden has it in the bag. No need for Democrats to show up for live voting at all. That is the message you are implicitly sending.
Don't take the Democrats for fools. They will vote as if their lives depend on it. They will not repeat the mistake of 2016 again.
Just a reminder that in 2016, HRC was leading in the RCP average of polls in Wisconsin by 6.5 points, and went on to lose the state. I don't think one can reasonably conclude that Biden would be "assured of winning" all states where he leads by 5+%.
I suspect you are correct... I was looking for a "polls" thread to post this very interesting news about a Senate race... SNIP North Carolina's Democratic Senate candidate Cal Cunningham became mired in a scandal earlier this month when he admitted to exchanging romantic text messages with a woman who is not his wife. Yet a new poll conducted by SurveyUSA showed that Cunningham actually increased his lead over the incumbent Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) after the news broke. ENDSNIP https://www.yahoo.com/news/cal-cunningham-surprisingly-increases-lead-215800208.html I guess that's one thing we can truly thank Trump for... No politician will ever again be taken down by a mere B-level sex scandal. Somewhere (probably Minnesota), Al Franken is sobbing into a towel at this news...
I did some more reading on this poll... this is freaking funny... SNIP Cunningham went from trailing Tillis by 11 among all men in September, to up two in October. Meanwhile, women and senior voters did shift more to Tillis in the wake of the scandal. ENDSNIP
Polls are accurate most of the time. It's the participation rate that makes the difference. That Trump won Wisconsin was a big surprise because Republicans voted overwhelmingly while Democrats stayed home. Today, the mobilization of the Democrats to get Trump out of the WH has nothing to do with 2016.
Mail in voting is already at record levels and it is overwhelmingly against the wannabe Fascist-in-Chief,
Ah yes. https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...wer-registered-republicans-than-independents/ “While independents have surpassed Republicans, there actually hasn’t been a huge drop in GOP party registration since President Trump took office. Since October 2016, GOP registration has dropped by half a percentage point. The number of registered Democrats declined by nearly a full point over the same span. Independents have benefited from both drops.”
In which case what you know doesn't go very far at all. Republican mail-in voting is in line with 2016. Dem and Independent mail in voting is at record high levels by several magnitudes! https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/en...?ri18n=true&ncid=other_huffpostre_pqylmel2bk8
