David Hogg was not "close to actually being murdered". He was not even at school that day.

    Wrong.

They released a piece of the video they were given they were either too lazy to review the entire thing or they deliberately released a five minute edit which made the kids look very bad.

The entire video was available on the same day and viewed by many people

It was these people who created a stir in social media which forced them to look at the whole thing.

They had all the information from the start.

Even after that they asked the kids to apologize and never asked the Indian liar to do so

It is truth regardless of your denial

The legal team did prove it. The judge decided it did not merit the damages they claimed and did so on first amendment grounds

I agree with his decision but wapo was still in the wrong

The media would have made Pravda proud. It took some skill to twist the story around to make it look like the teen was the bad guy.

    Source?

I didn’t hear about it until the third day, around the same time they reported on there being new information.

Which is why I have asked for a source that they had all the information from the start

    This isn’t slander or libel

Which is why I have asked for a source that they “had all the information from the start”. I am not saying you are a liar, I am asking for evidence. Now when that evidence doesn’t come we can go back to option 1.

Source where the judge said WaPo committed willful libel or slander.

Anyone who kept with the story knows it.

On the very first day they reported it I checked the entire film which was over an hour long. Many people did which was the only reason they admitted they edited what they showed their viewers.

I never said the judge said they committed libel or slander. I never said they committed libel or slander. In fact I said the judge made the right decision but they were still justified in suing. They lost which they should have but it was not frivolous.

Wapo manufactured the story by careful omission. Nothing illegal but definitely sleazy and fake news.
