    the bible photo op was more dangerous as there was no pre-planing by the Secret Service and protestors were being gassed and harmed, the Trump events less so i would think

    That is the weirdest argument I have ever heard. Guns do not limit in anyway the ability to peacefully assemble. That’s like saying due process effects your rights to peaceably assemble so it unconstitutional to have court dates. I’m sorry but this is absolutely tops the cake of stupidest anti second amendment arguments I have ever heard.

    It's just a silly way to invalidate the whole constitution. The OP argument is simply that the Constitution invalidates the Constitution; ridiculous.

    You accidentally made a good point. For once, you addressed the real issue and not the inanimate object. Of course, laws don't prevent gang members from having guns, but at least you're looking in the right direction.

    Can you come up with an idea that doesn't give these gang members an advantage over law abiding citizens?

    You can be peaceable while armed.
    You can tell by how there are 150m gun owners and only something like 0.007% kill anyone.

    you are making a classic mistake. Assuming there is a hierarchy among the amendments.

    There isn't. The First is not more important than the 2nd.
