no serial numbers, no checks on them whatsoever! aint the US GREAT? Bravo, entrepeneaurs! Big Bro can't ever win, thanks be to Adam Smith and the invisible hand.
Sure there will be ways. It will help outlaw guns though if this technology ever actually does what people claim it will do.
lol. think so? I KNOW just the reverse. Anti-gunners have done their worst, and they are losing, on every front.
those 3D printed lower receivers and guns are crap. likely to explode in some (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)'s face.
all things improve with enough incentive to innovate. no, the 3d AR 15's do NOT explode. some of them have broken off where the buttstock mounts to the Ar's lower receiver, but some Tig welding or epoxy "welding" of the obvious weaker places can prevent that. and the gun uses that Big bro worries about is 30 shots or less, so there's no need for the guns to last for thousands of rds. Airsoft, or mere dryfire, constitutes great practice, when the firing is OFFENSIVE, rather than reactive/defensive.
Just as always, the criminals will be able to get their hands on guns, and all the (otherwise) law-abiding people will be thrown in jail if they get caught not following the rules.
