randU Fallacy. Do you really think that State governors are going to keep their States closed for business through May as well? Why? Trump did not release the virus onto the world. Trump did not shut down the US economy. The rise in unemployment numbers (and the stock market crash) are a direct result of the actions that State governors have taken. Talk to your State governor if you take offense to the unemployment numbers. Trump's policies were working; he was setting economic records faster than you could count them. Why?? He didn't cause unemployment numbers to rise, stock market to tank, etc... You seem to really hate Trump for some reason.
So it's sort of like the MSM saying "We don't blame Trump!" and yet their every interpretation of every bit of news is the equivalent of, "We blame Trump!" So another of those 'trust what we TELL you we are saying rather than what we actually are saying' sort of things?
We’re sorry that all the news points to your boy trump being a self absorbed incompetent. It’s not the media’s fault he’s such a dotard and keeps screwing everything up. You voted for a clown and you got a circus and now you’re whining about it. Think how the rest of us feel watching your obese orange hope run our country into the ground just to feed his ego.
Who is the one that held up the stimulus package so that entirely unrelated matters could be added to it?
All of those Govs have praised the Trump, or reversed course....recently Whitmer had to acknowledge the President was right about certain drugs
Sorry dems, Trump has been doing a great job. Whine and complain all you want, but the worse this gets, the more he is going to look like a leader getting the US through difficult times. We all recognize that there is only so much that can be done, and Trump is doing it. Everyone sees right through you guys trying to turn this to political advantage. Americans can be dumb, but most have grown aware of the left's trying to turn every crisis into votes, and they are tired of it.
Wow.:smh: To be fair, this isn't ALL Trump's Fault. BUT, Trump could have taken (and FAILED to take) many actions in the Early Stages of the Outbreak that could have mitigated this Impact of this Killer Virus. Instead, Trump was too busy hoping for a "Miracle" and calling the Virus a "Hoax". Trump (who has always been a Mistakenly-Elected IMBECILE) clearly is UNDESERVING of Another Term. Trump OWNS This Virus. And, at the polls in November, The American Voters WILL Remember Trump's Virus. Thanks alot, Trump! :smh:
Well it is suppose to be a free country, maybe we should let the citizens decide weather or not they want to go back to work after April 30. If a person wants to chance it they should have a choice and if your scared then stay home. Maybe just restrict large events like concerts. Just a thought, not sure where I stand just yet but this shut down could cause more problems than the virus it's self.
Here's the problem with that - if it just involved one person, fine. But when it puts the Doctors and Nurses at greater risk if you get sick or you infect other people, it becomes an ****** move It's not all about you.
Lot's of head smacking Andy. What are the liberals doing to help the country out besides complain? BTW, I do like the all caps to point out your frustration.
Well for you my guess is being unemployed is the status quo. Left wingers disarm the people via gun control and then pontificate about class war. Like I said before, what's wrong with this picture.
Trump implemented a China travel ban at the end of January so your statement he did nothing for 6 seeks is a false claim.
I really think you're overestimating people's penchant for blaming the president over this, when it wasn't even the president that has ordered business closures. In fact, he was pushing for the country to reopen and only backed off after he listened to some good information that told him it would be a unilaterally bad idea. This is not going to be the gotcha that you think it will be.
A comment for you and the other ranters. If you don't like Trump please pontificate on specific issues so we can have an actual issues based conversation. Either that or start one giant fling excrement on the wall thread and get it out of your system.
Unemployment wont be at that level. Thats doomsday stuff. They based that in the growth in the last month, and thats disingenuous to say the least. 1. Most estimates place the number of "furloughed" workers at 3/4 of the current total number. Furloughed means they will be back 2. The government agreed to pay the employer share of the unemployment benefits during the "shutdown", so pretty much every company that didn't have work just shifted their payroll to the US Government. I really don't think it's going to be that bad when this is all over. The economy will take a hit, but I really don't think it is the "doomsday" scenario some people are projecting
Actually thats not really true: https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/dis...elers-poured-us-coronavirus/story?id=69933625
I have to disagree. I don't see Covid19 as an advantage for Biden. Trumps opposition has succeeded in making him the voice of reason by comparison. I can't stand Trump, but he is the lesser of evils. While we are in for challenging times, we are not going to have another "great depression".
