3rd Al Franken accuser comes forward

The Trump supporter who claims Franken grabbed her butt sure had a big smile on her face in that picture.

Maybe she liked having it squeezed (or maybe it never happened).

Menz told CNN that what happened immediately after she took the photo with Franken that summer day in 2010 has also stayed with her. Standing nearby was another politician -- then-Minnesota Rep. John Kline.
As she was getting ready to take a picture with Kline, Menz said the congressman asked her whether they should "mutually put our arms around each other" -- an interaction that struck her as being in stark contrast with what she had experienced moments ago with Franken

So after one politician supposedly grabbed her ass you went up to another one and asked HIM to take a similar picture with her?

Is that how women who have been molested act?

I really don't understand the level of investment liberals are putting into Franken here. I mean, the gov of MN would surely nominate a more maintstream democrat, so the seat itself isn't in play. Why work so publicly to ensure that his behavior is absolved? And isn't that really the only question that matters? It is, afterall, a conversation about behavior. And if, as it appears, mr Franken engaged in the lewd and lascivious, why is it so important to gloss over that? Come on LIbs. Can't eat your own dogfood? Or is that only for the rest of the basket of deplorables???

As a Minnesotan I know attendance at the State Fair averages about 100,000 per day. On that basis the claimant should be able to produce many witnesses if her charges are accurate.

Creepy. With so many people corroborating the event, it certainly seems credible. And I guess even Facebook has a record of her claim from the time of the incident:

Menz posted the photo with Franken on Facebook at the time, on August 27, 2010. Her sister, Cari Thunker, commented under the photo: "Sorry, but you two aren't Bibles (sic) width apart" -- a reference, Thunker explained to CNN, to how physically close Menz and Franken were in the photo.
Menz responded to her sister on Facebook: "Dude -- Al Franken TOTALLY molested me! Creeper!" (The exchange is visible to Menz's Facebook friends.)

It was legal groping, unfortunately.

Minnesota statutes state that "intentional touching of the clothing covering the immediate area of the buttocks" is not considered criminal sexual conduct.
