4-Year-Old Boy Suspended from Daycare for Having Tiny .22 Shellcase

I read the children's encyclopaedia and learnt from my teachers.
You learn more than things from books at school. You learn socialisation, discipline etc.

 

That's fine if the teachers are good, but a lot are no good at all, filling kids heads with false values..

 

Not all. My teachers in the main were sensible kindly people who did their best to teach us how to learn.

 

Seriously, sending your kids to some of these schools with crazed rules, teachers and administrators is beginning to approach abuse.

 

I wish schools would simply focus on the core educational subjects rather than all this indoctrination and propaganda.

Grammar for example, is really important!

 

Huh. 30 years ago I took several guns to school, for science fair.
Two semi--automatic handguns, a revolver, and an AR15.
I told my physics teacher I'd have firearms as party of my display; he said 'just make sure you make them safe'.

I guess we weren't full of irrational fear back then.

 

Every so often there's a TV documentary about schooling such as "Educating Essex" which was broadcast on Brit TV and leaves me absolutely disgusted with the false values teachers are giving kids.

 

Are you saying the four year old got what he deserved?

 

Don't you think its excessive though?

 

You can choose to do whatever you want as a business or private school. That doesn't mean we'll agree to whatever you chose.

 

I'll bet you he never brings in a shell casing to school again. Lesson learned.
